  10. The guys at r&b are fine including Ross. Helped me out loads. Especially picknupmon Martin great job. But can we conspire to break a few of their fingers coz if they keep showing off like that on the guitars I'm trying making me feel inadequate I Ain't never going back!!!
  11. Also Davy shanks has been added to the line up. Hell of an eclectic night. The only genre not touched on is noise (whatever that is??)
  12. luiza can't make the gig as she's had to go back to poland for family reasons. so the great olly richards will be sitting in and playing some of his soulful tunes. and hopefully having a few beers! cheers

what about a Rock/Indie/Alternative/jazz/folk/RnB/Soul/blues band? with a touch of hip hop? If you;ve still got the piano we might be interested i'll ask the band cheers
  19. great atmosphere at blue lamp. it's just seems to have something about it. and we all kicked middle aged butt (?) thanks to the oxjam guys CD's good too. i really like the deportees and alan's 2 tunes. good to see individualism/inventiveness/melody/eccentricitiy/originaility/goddamnsexiness etc coming oot! cheers
  20. Folk and all that Ross the minge tingler (?) has always been straight with me and helpful as the rest are I've had the same issue with strings. Self tuning gold covered breatable or whatever they are at 30 for acoustics break all the time mid gig and the cheaper are much better. So advice isn't always right but they feel it is. Fine But biggest issue for me is they don't have the luthier anymore so it's jimmy moon in Glasgow for any repairs. But Ross put in petzoie thingy on my Martin. Real neat job and it sounded perfect. All in I can put up with opinions but you don't have to take them.
  21. Different crowd. Country folk. And martin with his wee band is very different. He's matured into well I suppose you could use the word exceptional song writer and live performer. Comedy and craic. So I want to try and make this a regular thing
  22. Next ones will hopefully be Martin Stephenson plus support then Ray Harris and the fusion experience + the oxbow lake in Newburgh before Xmas if I pull my finger lot!!
