  1. Sorry dude, gonna get my ADA8000 from a friend who's selling his. Hope you sell 'em though! (p.s you got any other recording stuff lying around you don't want?)
  2. My Minds Weapon. Predictable? Yes. Biased? Definitely. ...but still, a local band being signed to a european label (in addition to their british label) with a two album deal being distributed by Sony/BMG is worthy of note in my opinion.
  3. i'm pretty keen on the ADA8000. You selling it with the lightpipe? the only worry is I have a friend who has one and he has never been able to set it up properly with his system. (which is very similar to mine) edit: also, what do you think of the pres in it? in particular with respect to recording drums. (loud sound source)
  4. Bit of a different tack here, but just trying to offer some support and different ideas: are there any other forms of entertainment being provided? My experience from "all day gigs" is that VERY few people will want, or even be able to physically WATCH 15 bands in a row. is there a place where people can sit down? - maybe near where the food and drink are being served? are there any other games of events being played to keep the punters in the building? I'd also echo Ian comments about needing a monitor engineer and strict adherance to stage times. But other than that it sounds like you're well on the way to a good event. I'll put Your Fears (my band) www.myspace.co.uk/yourfearsuk forward as able to play (subject to confirmation of dates as we have quite a few tours planned for next year). [edit: if you want! - of course!] Cheers
  5. Bump. Still available: Marshall Valvestate 2000 AVT150H Head with Footswitch pedal (one note of interest) Crate Power Block Amp Head with padded gig bag Jackson JS-30 Warrior Guitar Peavey Envoy 110 Combo Amplifier
  6. no the drums were all programmed using EZDrummer (DFH edition).
  7. quality. Except for some reason in the chorus he says "see" not "hear", what's that about and how did no one pick it up? who did the vocals again? edit: d'oh, just read an older thread and it says in there that the vocalist wished to remain anonymous and the wrong word in the chorus. ignore me!
  8. dude, i've emailed you today about someone who might be interested in it. Why you not picking up emails today? Lazy bastard.
  9. Anyone getting rid of either of these?
  10. sound, someone got a bargain there me thinks!
  11. what flex is the shaft? and any head adjsutments? i wouldn't want to buy them then have to buy new shafts too..
  12. what are the games you have for sale? looking to buy some ps3 games from xmas...
  13. why not just buy a chorus pedal or something? i assume he has a tuning pedal? if he has multiple effects pedals why not buy him a power bank? get them for about 25 pounds off eBay? ...just suggestions.
  14. it was my first drumkit too...definitely a load of balls! but I agree, good starter kit for a beginner.
  15. Sorry, pedal already sold. Rest still available.

  19. I have a friend selling his old guitar equipment that he doesn't use anymore. Possibly some good xmas presents for what I would call a "beginner". you'll see what I mean by what he is selling, but it all works perfectly well! Everyone has to start somewhere! Marshall Valvestate 2000 AVT150H Head with Footswitch pedal Boss MT-2 Metal Zone Pedal Crate Power Block Amp Head with padded gig bag Jackson JS-30 Warrior Guitar Peavey Envoy 110 Combo Amplifier PM me if you are interested in any.
  20. yes, i'm selling it for a friend, do you want to buy it? edit: pm me if you do cos I don't check ab-mus THAT often but pms come to my email, cheers.
  21. guitar is no longer available guys! thanks to all the interested parties. cheers.
  22. Ok, 4 notes of interest now, all seem pretty keen. Little advice please from an impartial forumer? I'm not looking to play hardball for a number of reasons, but mainly because I just don't like it. However, the guitar is being sold to raise money to buy another guitar, the actual amount I need is 200. I didn't realise there would be as much interest as there is. I think the first person to get back to me with the best offer up to the 200 wins now. (not looking to go over as I only need 200) I'll text the couple of people right now too so they get the same message. Cheers
  23. Here are pics. Overall in good condition, usual small scratches on the back from 'buckle rash', and a small chip which i tried to take a photo of but the flash kind of got in the way!! i didn't even remotely clean the guitar before taking these pics so i'm sure a bit of spit and polish would get this looking shiny new in no time. Already had 2 notes of interest.
