I've mainly read his M books, and those are rarely disappointing. The Business is probably the weakest novel that I've read of his. It's still gorgeous, if lacking in its ending. Guy is a killer writer, IMO. *but I'm maybe not quite ontopic here. Check Excession if you want a truly BWHHAAAA ending

Probably Nintendo for consistently being great. Although, the Saturn is amazing if you get one with an import cart. It's like a real old school arcade machine! The Dreamcast was a very underrated machine also, I think. It's a pity that Sega are out of the game now. Other than that, my misspent youth went: Spectrum+2 > C64 > Atari ST > Amiga 500 > Amiga 1200 > Playstation > PC > PS2 Amiga was definitely my fave!

I've got Zen, and I pay about 25 a month with a 20GB cap and no contract. There was a setup fee. Speed is fairly decent where I am. Never had a problem with it, except for their news server dropping posts, but who uses that these days anyway?

I currently have 37p but should you get bored on your shift: Somewhere between a 21" and 28" (depends how big the back is) that ideally has a flatscreen, at least one RGB capable SCART (for colour NTSC.) If you have one that does (480p) progressive scan and component input then that would be bloody amazing, but I don't know if non-HDTVs do that. Freeview is nice. Maybe I should bump this in times of money...

That's probably what I'll end up doing, but I know if I ask the average person if it has such and such a feature, they'll just look at me blankly. Plus, shops deliver! Old consoles can tend to look like shite on lukadehtehvs, which is why I'm looking for the kurt.

I suppose this is a question based on a hypothetical future scenario when I'm not completely broke, but: What local electronics store could sell me a 4:3 aspect ratio tube box that can handle PAL/NTSC, possibly even 480p (which would need component inputs as far as I can tell,) and the usual RF/SCART/composite inputs? I've got a US Model 2 Saturn and a US slimline PS2, and a TV someone seems to have placed a large speaker on at some point, resulting in some serious colour distortion. TRIPPY! Not very fun... I have scoped out the Goodmans things Comet are flogging, but they look crap, so any tips?

It sucks that they're splitting up Grindhouse for over here. I really liked the double bill concept, and the fake trailers were hilarious. That said, Death Proof definitely looks weak next to Planet Terror. Too much padding and the dialogue was crappy. Always good to see The Mullet in action, though!

I do find it reassuring that America is finally giving up its goodies, but I'm not a big fan of the doughnut. In'N'Out Burger FTW!!!! I would weigh 20 stone in under six months.
