  1. No other changes, 2000 ono. They cost a ridiculous amount brand new.
  2. I'm looking to sell or trade my LPC. This is a great ferkin' guitar! Sounds clips featuring it can be found here: Vox Supreme on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads D*A*M sound clips on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads Tupelo Town Assembly on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads The guitar is for sale for 2000 UK pounds ono. Or I'm looking to trade it for a Fender custom shop telecaster of some kind, the most desirable being an aged sonic blue, maple neck tele. It originally came with grovers which I still have and will of course include. One side of the split metal shafts of the treble/bridge volume pot broke off, but it still functions. I changed the wiring to 50's wiring. The pickup covers have been 'aged' to match the tailpiece. My LPC comes with near mint original mid 50's super klusons which in themselves are worth a fair bit. The guitar has some small dents from general use than is shown in these pics. Nothing major, nothing serious, just letting you know.
  3. ... especially with special deliveries which could contain very important items. Perhaps the postman simply prints the name, as it's sometimes the case that people/customers themselves are only able to do that in their just awoke haze.
  4. Officially that shouldn't have been happening now or at anytime in the past, never mind after changes. Who ever's been doing that is either doing you a favour, himself a favour or a combination of the two.
  5. Is 84a and 84b on the items too? Name and flat number/letter is really helpful, but there will always be mongs who'll continually get it wrong no matter what is infront of them.
  6. I'm afraid a friend beat you to it via pm's.
  7. Aye it's all to go at once to the same person!
  8. There's a lot of crap postmen and a lot of good ones! Lemme explain some things... One of the many problems is that things are constantly being changed lately and this is meaning there is an inconsistent and rather shambolic service all over the country as these changes are brought in at different places at different times with people interpreting the rules in different ways. For example as part of Royal Mail's 'modernisation plans' a computer system was used to work out brand new delivery rounds based on a little man on a screen going round the delivery in question at 4 miles per hour. That is fact despite what RM says in the press. In a lot of cases these rounds are not worked out based on local knowledge or common sense, the computer works it all out using postcodes and the speed this little computer man goes at. He doesn't stop to knock on doors, press entry buzzers, re fill bags, cross roads etc etc. He continually walks at 4MPH for 3 and a half hours stopping at each door for 1 second, the supposed delivery time for our rounds. Basically this is unachievable by any normal person thus the deliveries in some cases take far longer to complete. Start times have gotten later so the mail is being delivered later. This is supposedly progress!? A lot of deliveries have gotten longer(see above) this all means that we the postmen(who do their best to follow the rules) are leaving the office to start our deliveries at approximately 10am. A whole number of buzzers etc go off at about this time or about midday meaning we cannot gain entrance to a whole number of buildings. The public expects that we should buzz every individual numbers do gain entry(this adds on a lot of time), but officially we are not supposed to. The official standard operating procedure is to press the service button and if you cannot gain entrance via that the mail gets returned for re-delivery the next day. after 3 days of no entry the mail is supposedly mean to be sent back to sender. Things you can do to help a posman do his job better. Make sure you're flat entry buzzer is working and is on till atleast 2pm. Make sure that you're name and flat number is clearly marked on both the buzzer and your actual door. Names on doors at the very least is really helpful when we don't have complete addressed items When you are receiving something try to ensure the sender uses your complete address, the more info there is the more likely you are to receive it. I receive a whole number of incomplete addressed items everyday, combine that with no names on doors and there's little chance for me to be able to deliver that item on time and to the right house. Make sure dogs are not out in the garden during posting times, or that you do not let a dog get out when the postman knocks at your door. Basically If you're dog is out don't expect to get mail! If you know you are not going to be in, you can have items delivered to nearby post offices instead so that you can collect them there. If you are unhappy about the postal service you are receiving or you cannot get the entry system to your flat put on later etc there is what is called a call and collect service available. Basically your mail will be held at the relevant post office depot and you can collect it. It's free. I know folks like to moan and see every postman as a lazy bastard, but there are a number of hard working people who do their best within the rules of the job. There's a whole number of possible reasons why you are not getting your mail. It's not always down to the postman not doing his job properly. Ramblin' post over.
  9. I'm having a clear out of stuff due to diminishing space and have streamlined my CD collection down to the bare essentials and absolute favourites so I have a few boxes of CD's to give away to anyone that wants to come and collect them. It's mostly 60's psych and prog stuff, jazz ans blues comps, some mid 90's indie, and other stuff that I can't remember at the moment. There's also some old books on the beatles, stones etc and some corny love novels courtesy of my wife. I could probably sell most of it, but I cannot be assed with ebay etc. Pm me if you're interested. Don't ask for a list of whats in there, cos it's all packed up. Some great stuff, some shit, but it's free. 8-) Whoever wants this will need to come to my house in sheddocksley this Friday between 9am - 9pm.
  10. It might not be so bad if you take off yer parka.
  11. The guitar must be from 1968 then as 330's up to sometime in 1967-68 had the neck join at the 15th fret. It must be a transitional 1968 ES-330TD due to the nut width and neck join.
  12. You sure thats a 1966 ES-330? The neck join is in the wrong place for 330's of that era, like so... .
  13. out of touch... Wow, the end of KC!? I feel proud to have played live and recocorded with yah! Plus I got a song written about me, fab! There's only one Alan Davidson!!! 8-)
  14. Hehe, just been copy and pasting, so the search bit is a lie. People at a stones forum are slowly trying to work out who has what regarding recordings and copyrights etc etc. The director of the movie has said he has a production copy of the music, basically the recording he was given to use back in 1967. He can't release it due to legal uncertainties about the copyright. The film is out there on bootleg and it is via this bootleg that people can get a taste of the music, but it has the actors talking over it and the quality of the bootleg is pretty poor. The best outcome would be for the directors copy of the music to be released on CD in a nice package with informative liner notes. 8-) This petition might amount to nothing, or it could start the ball rolling, who knows!?
  15. Did a quick search and there doesn't seem to be any discussion about Brian Jones 1967 soundtrack for the German film A Degree of Murder. The film isn't so good, but the soundtrack is at the very least interesting to both stones and led zep fans. There's a whole lot of Brian Jone's versatility to be heard as well as some hot page fuzz guitar action, most notably during the murder scene. It sounds like Page plays on the majority of the soundtrack. Why am I posting this, well there's an online petition trying muster support to get the soundtrack officially released on CD, it would be real cool if you could sign it! It will very likely not sort out anything but, who knows, it's worth to try. Doesn't cost you anything, you've just to click the link, put your name or nick and e-mail address. If you have more e-mail addresses sign twice. Here is the link: A Degree of Murder Soundtrack Here's some clips from the film: Video :: ADOM1.flv video by zglass - Photobucket Video :: ADOM2.flv video by zglass - Photobucket Video :: ADOM3.flv video by zglass - Photobucket

  17. You're a drummer! Is that worse than calling you a cunt!?
  18. Bands that think they are something special because they have or will play some gigs in London or anywhere in England. Bands that say they are touring, but this tour consists of a few gigs spread over 3 or 4 months, most of which take place in Aberdeen.
  19. Sure, which are item are you bidding on?
