  1. this is totally the first i've heard about this...! i've just messaged you.
  2. i've been really digging the Pneu stuff, actually, yeah! i wasn't that bothered first time round but it's growing on me. should be pretty off-teh-chain live! hopefully liz can cook up a totally rad as poster with catchy fonts and diagrams and we can sell it like mad.
  3. that video is rad - shame there's no vocals though ! it's from 07 as well - just imagine how much tighter they'll be now!!
  4. THIS IS THE BUSINESS! really really really really can't wait to see shield yr eyes. so tight. ---- one this, i was speaking to ross today (and i just checked) - there's no dundee date on their list thingy. i thought that was happening? edit; 'four pieces are for poofs' - brilliant.
  5. the more dancing the better. on and off stage.
  6. i'll ask the other guys, yeah! i think we're planning to come down to see you tonight at 8ish to check the place out (i'll bring a cd for you) so we could chat then <3!
  7. Exactly! i've been doing stuff on the Iranian revolution where everybody's mother (is that a saying?) has a name that i can't even pronounce, and that spell check hates. say it brother. that show gets on my wick. the first series was bearable, but i saw maybe 10 minutes of this newest one, and srsly, it's epitomises everything that is wrong with an entire generation of people. it seems to combine the writing skills of a 17 year old media student and a bunch of 30/40 somethings writing about how they wished their teenage years were really like, completely based around several pop culture references each episode. thing is...most teenagers NEVER experience anything remotely close to what happens in these shows. i spent my time playing burnout on the game cube and watching terrible Saturday television. this program only alienates those perhaps more anxious/paranoid/let out feel even more alone. adam and joe did a great piece about it here; brilliant.
  8. i love me some neil young but there's no way i'm going to pay something silly like 75 to see someone that probably shouldn't be doing live shows anymore - apparently on the last tour he was looking a bit washed out/not really into it AT ALL.
  9. definitely one of my favourite films! bruges is lovely, as well. BUT, contrary to how the bell tower is portrayed in the film, there's actually a MASSIVE electronic ticket service thing, and chicken wire over pretty much everything at the top. sort of lost the magic...
  10. i went to see rachel getting married tonight and really enjoyed it a lot.
  11. doing a word document and those silly little red squiggles appearing for errors that DON'T EXIST. i just can't continue typing while they're squiggling away at me, just in the corner of my eye. sigh.
  12. i'm digging it. the second track is tots brill.
  13. "just book them you fag" hah!
  14. nu uh! but the ending is soooo soo rad. that riff - woah! AND WE TALK TALK TALK AND WE TRY TRY TRY
  15. it's totally brill, isn't it!? i think boutros understands me and healing factor are my favourite. especially healing factor; "we'll fuckin' heal like wolverine, i'll be there for you like you've always been there for me...these are our walls, these our arms, these are our hearts, these are our songs, these our are songs!"
  16. Joe, did you grab the Get Bent stuff from IYMI? it's really good!
  17. it is, yes. i miss MMISL. edit; and YES, i'd be all over seeing these guys if they came up.
  18. i dunno...i kinda find it hard to joke about cancer, no matter who the victim is. maybe i'm just a bit of a sap...
  19. Yo Man, Go! - Discography free discography's ftw! yeah!
  20. the quick editing with 80's sound effects is absolutely terrifying!
  21. Wow. I want to live in Portland, Oregon when i'm older. Is it really as nice as i think (which is really nice)? ---- Joie De Vivre on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
