  1. Everyone seems to like the word "fucktards" aswell. In a years time you will be saying "I hate all those ass-clowns who use the word fucktards".
  2. I have never seen any of them actually! But Youtube is profiling website, so the chances are you were probably watching something similar or related in order to get to it. The cats I understand and will defend to the dying breath. You can't fight with teh kittehs. Keyboard Cat 4 Life fool.
  3. Yeah that's just Fudge I think. I am in a 3-piece Aberdeen band, but my guitarist lives in Turriff. According to Fudge Promotions, that means we are "Turriff" band. Teehee! You should get in contact with Hen at the Tunnels. He puts on a lot of gigs. Add "The Tunnels" to your myspace page and message them. Whether people actually go to the Tunnels is a different matter though.
  4. Haha, it wasn't the fantasy element, I just thought it was quite boring. It was OK don't get me wrong, but I have a slightly crazed Hungarian friend who has subjected me (I too am not an anime buff) to some extreme anime which I found ridiculously entertaining and quite mental. Spirited Away was just a wee bit tame by comparison and made me feel like I was watching Men in Black when I could have been watching 2001: A Space Odyssey. I'm maybe being harsh, I'll rewatch it sometime soon, but I didn't take much from it on first viewing anyway.
  5. Didn't get that much out of it to be honest.
  6. Also, I thought that Mellow Gold was really popular! It's the one that has Loser on it.
  7. Let me google that for you Nothing is hard to find these days.
  8. A Western Harvest Field by Midnight, Golden Feelings and Mellow Gold all move me, but after that he seemed to lose some artistic relevance to me. I'll always have a soft spot for him, but now he's a bit like a cigarette without the nicotine. He'll have the obligatory couple of decent songs on each new record, but the albums themselves seem more about high production than anything else. Still, I keep listening to those couple of decent songs per album, but I want him to make a proper album again.
  9. Does anyone here like "old Beck"? Like when he was a sort of Daniel Johnston type experimental folker?
  10. Lulz. Well I have nothing better to do than to derail poor threads.
  11. Ha, I take it you don't count his "philosophical" treatises then? They really are a joke.
  12. Some of Dante's comedies are simply divine.
  13. I saw Radiohead play all of OK Computer back in the day (just about in order aswell...) and more recently in Glasgow they played all of In Rainbows. I can't really judge any of it properly because I'm too much of a fanboy. I'd have loved to have seen the Pixies play Surfer Rosa back in the 80s.
  14. I just bought 36 copies of the X-Factor single. I'm raging against Rage Against The Machine.
  15. Well I guess we will have to compromise. It's an iced-cream lolly.
  16. Yeah, but they have iced-cream in them.
  17. It's not even good "bad" pop music.
  18. Won't play for me. Songs unavailable or something.
  19. Watch more. This whole series is about the demise of Tucker's era. I agree with your assessment of the first two episodes, but they only serve to highlight the change in tone that occurs in later episodes. Watch episodes 6 & 7 if you want quick rebuttals to your points.
  20. Episode 7 is possibly my favourite so far. I think Malcolms character is really interesting when he isn't omnipotent.
