  1. Yeah I've thought that for ages, just nonsense. Which is fine, but it's really bloody annoying nonsense. In typical Aberdeen-Music style, this thread seems have really taken off now that we have negated the original purpose and re-baptised it "The Bad Lyrics Thread". Which I'm all for.
  2. "Oh my god I don't believe it, I've never been this far away from home!" Sorry, I know we are past this now, but every song of theirs I think of has a repeated phrase!
  3. Those are a joke right? No one could be that ignorant of stem-cell research.
  4. But... Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby! Ruby Ruby Ruby Ruby! I PREDICT A RIOT, I PREDICT A RIOT, I PREDICT A RIOT, I PREDICT A RIOT! Edit: Ninja'd.
  5. Actually, I've always thought that Dylan is an excellent example of phonetic ripeness of sound over actual meaning. I love to hear Dylan wail.
  6. Vultures bringin out the big guns i see vultures i see vultures theres wedding bells all year round in my bloodstream in my bloodstream im pickin up the david star im done thinkin im done thinkin & all your children laugh a hole in my head with beaks twisting & beaks twisting & im bringing out the big guns i see vultures i see vultures
  7. Holy shit that Shandling one is ridiculous! He was being so awkward and Ricky couldn't quite believe what was happening. Credit to Gevais for showing the interview unedited and as it happened though, because it was pretty uncomfortable.
  8. Apart from the first bit, I agree. We are all fallible and will most likely lose tons of important possessions during our lives. Relying on the decency of others has saved my ass a few times now and even has the power restore my love of humanity for brief moments. This alone is enough justification for me to hand things back to their owners when I find them, as I know what it feels like.
  9. It peaked for me with the Starbucks scene. "I'll have a ... vanilla... Just give me one of the vanilla bullshits". There's a very good interview with him (these are quite rare) with Ricky Gervais who is visibly nervous around Larry as he is such a big fan, but once they settle down and get talking, you get a pretty great insight as to how the show is made.
  10. Cheers. Yeah that's not really what I'm looking for, but I will give them a try just for the sake of having some lovely new strings. There's nothing quite like the sacred and sexy feeling of fresh new strings, so full of tone and wonder!
  11. After this gang-rape of abuse, I'm sure she really feels morally re-educated and has a new incentive to hand in stolen goods. Or... Might she now actually feel glad of her choice since it has been revealed and soundly demonstrated that a basic human desire is not to engage in conversation and moral discussion, but just to revel in the opportunity to call someone a cunt? Not sure.
  12. Which kind of Labella's did you use? Can you give me an example of what sort of sound they produced, perhaps a youtube vid? I also have a P-Bass and have been searching around for that mystical "perfect tone" for too long now; I'd like to find a consistent sound to practice with.
  13. I reckon she is referring to the comments rather than the red dots.
  14. It's not surprising that my posts seem enigmatic to you, as I actually said that I wasn't aware of any other posts in the last few pages that were of any consequence. And I was replying to Lucky Rathen. You have sort of owned yourself by not reading correctly. Too many strong Brewdog beers perhaps?
  15. Well if there is anything in particular that you want my utterly un-expert opinion on, just ask. I wasn't aware of any other posts of any consequence.
  16. My case is so heavy... I think I may have to rest it here.
  17. Well I am glad to hear it. If they got you into good ales, then that's fair enough. Fursty Ferret is a nice one and Badger make some lovely ales. Not to stir things up again, but I see them as less... vulgar than Brewdog. If you are looking for a nice one to try then I think that of all the ales I am into right now, my favourite is St. Peter's Organic Ale.
  18. Well, I think the thought is that generally, Brewdog's branding is set out to inspire and entice people who are enclined towards a "punk" mentality, who like the idea of rebellion and admire the fight against oppression; These are all features of Kimy's posts in this thread, hence why I quoted the spanking he gave you.
  19. After reading this entire thread, your imagery is exactly how I imagine most people involved in this thread to look like.
  20. That you were both excited and taken in by it.
  21. KimyReizeger is beacon of non-conformity on a increasingly monotone aberdeen-music. KR is proud to be an intrepid David in a desperate ocean of insipid Goliaths. KR is proud to be an alternative. Got it this time? Also, it could be helpful when trying to insult people to actually work out what the word "preach" means.
