I thought you said this was the best guitar you played or something like that and that you loved it or something like that. I'm saying 'something like that' because I'm not sure and can't be bothered looking up the thread.................................and it had the poker chip mod.

Come to think of it, this 'covers' debate has been done before somewhere on this very forum.....so by default it is a cover 'thread' debate closed. Or leave it open...we cover band guys are very open minded on all music...hence why we play covers of many genres. It might be the 'original band' members that are not opened minded as they play only what they write and it would tend to be of one genre.....

FFS. Some of you guys are a right bunch of snobs. Most original bands I've seen lately get on stage, moan about the sound in the monitors and then play 10-12 songs (45mins) and then that's it. The last band I played in picked for quite a number of songs and ended up play 45 songs per night. not everyone likes 'art' some prefer waching repeats of Friends or Cheers on the TV.

Aye Paul, been there. But to be honest it's always been short lived. The thing is with me is that I've got nae big ideas about turning the music world on it's head with new fangled stuff. I just like to make a noise/racket or whatever you want to call it. Whether it covers or originals, in an old garage or a playing field in WA....... So aye, I got/get fed up, but doubt I will pack it all in for good.

I've lost track. Who's band is this not? Anyway, once we decide who's it is I don't tell me ok. I have laid down the drums/bass/keyboards/vocals and guitars etc etc on an old 3 track. Only waiting for the glockenspiel player to forget to come round. -
