  1. Yeah, I don't quite get this either. Genuinely exciting and very talented band. They get it right every single time. It's been a pleasure to have played with them on so many occasions. Didn't get to see them on Thursday unfortunately but I'm sure it was spot on again. Was a good night.
  2. Does anyone know of any night classes in the city that teach Spanish?

  4. We have two standing tickets for the Shepherd's Bush gig next Tuesday. We were really up for going to this but can't go as our graduations are the next morning. Saw him at Koko in London a few months back and it was cracking and this looks like being a good one too. They cost us 18.50 per ticket so will sell them for face value or PM with an offer. Thanks.
  5. MP3 phones without headphones on buses especially when they're playing some rubbish version of some already tedious song covered by someone who sounds like they've inhaled 5 litres of helium. Animal cruelty. When people lick their fingers before they turn the page, don't know why, just really annoys me.
  6. Thanks, was trying to check Bruce Millers' online shop but it seems to be down. Forgot about Top Note.
  7. Hydrahead Chemikal Underground Gravity DIP Saddle Creek/Lumberjack Rough Trade
  8. While on a group tour of a candy factory, you fall over a guardrail and land on a taffy pulling machine. Your head, torso, and legs are ripped into three separate sections. ...different i guess.
  9. this is gonna be immense. all the bands are awesome. the Jacob's Stories split ep with Metronomes (Al Paxton from Stapleton) is fantastic. this willbe a good un.
  10. somerfield do other ones from a local bakery, can't quite remember the name, mcgregor, mckenzie, something like that, they come in packs of about 12,easily the best non-fresh cookies i've had in a long time
  11. had some epic fights on sf2,didn't have a snes though so it was megadrive ryu and blanka were the best characters. recently played it on the ps2 although it's not the same:( and when guile does a sonic boom his voice is completely different, friendly or happy almost. fucking weird.
  12. yeah i bought that today, you described it pretty well,it's fantastic,a bit of a challenging listen but well worth it. the new Cave In one's a good buy as well as is the new From Autumn To Ashes, they're back on form
  13. There were "learning" zombies in "Day of the Dead", Bub used a gun fairly efficently. George Romero makes the rules about zombies as far as I'm concerned, so it's cool if he wants to add something new to the mythos that he really kickstarted.
  14. I think whoever wrote it needs to get laid and maybe play Resident Evil: Code Veronica or something. Maybe eat a burger and drink coke, because they are tasty. Whatever.
  15. bob the turtle, bertie beaver and pearl the prostitute-was immense
  16. i kinda like movies with subtitles actually-i find if i'm concentrating more on reading them it makes it harder to lose track of the plot. anyway ring was good, always preferred the jap version
