I agree it did entirely suck shit, which is why we, as 15 year olds who had probably seen the Breakfast Club a few times too many, decided that that would be a good way of rebelling against all the bullshit, in restrospect it probably wasn't, but it was fun nonetheless.

Oi, back the fuck up, I was merely pointing out that people listen to, and enjoy heavy music in Fraserburgh as well, sheesh, bite my fucking head off whydontcha. And I suppose you never did any damage whne you were at school? It was ten fucking years ago when I was fifteen, not like it was last week!

Hate to disappoint you buddy, but me and my mates were moshing in the Broch as far back as 95 when bands like White Deth and the original Twenty-Eight were on the go... I came out of the Station Hotel or Cheers with a black eye many a night! In fact we got banned from the Fraserburgh Academy school disco for pressuring the DJ into playing "The Ace of Spades" and moshing like bastards, effectively trashing the social area.

O yeah, I remember seeing them in Drakes a while back, they were really good... and I got a free badge, which I passed onto a girl I know on the London Underground, which she then pinned to her bag and still to this day I believe walks around London Town wearing her Downroads badge. I bet the Downroads are talked about in London all the time!

I don't want to ruffle any feathers here, but the reasons I haven't been to a gig in ages is because most of the bands that I liked in the last few years (eg Substistence, Bodies, Sirius, Point etc) have split up and I honestly haven't seen any new bands recently that I've liked enough to go and pay money to watch them play. Also, Kef, The Lemon Tree & Moshulu charge alot of money to get in, (6 for fucking Kef?), and OK a fiver or so may not be alot to some people, but I never have any money and it's puts me off going to gigs and possibly seeing new bands. Just my opinion, which I'm sure is worthless Elwood

Personally I blame roasted marshmallows, which I had that night for the first time - hated them so much I threw up, spent the next three days throwing up and doubled over in incredible pain, before being admitted to hospital and having a bit of my body removed. It's been 14 years since I had a marshmallow "Fuck marshmallows"

I also had my appendix out in 1991, perhaps it was just the year for it.

The worse i've ever done was stand on the plug for the tumble dryer when I was in bare feet, cue 3 pins going into my foot, that hurt alot. On the topic of people finding weird things in their bodies, my mate one time had a really really itchy asshole, it had beeen bugging him for a few hours, so he went to the bog to investigate, upon wiping said bumhole he found to his astonishment, a perfectly formed cornflake.
