  1. wonder if the valves have been changed since the original post?
  2. but pack the headstock *really* well, so that the guitar doesn't move in the case at all. avoid whiplash if it gets dropped, it'll break again.
  3. Hey, its time for changes. Horn players are needed for a swing blues band. Regular gigs, minimal painful rehearsals. Mostly it'll be for fun and beer money. Interested? PM me.
  4. Any chance of a reply about this?
  5. I am interested in the epi if its still available. PM sent...
  6. Custom made 4x10 bassman boutique version, with a Marshall power section be of interest?
  7. I think you need to re-think your price, it seems pretty high for a guitar with a repaired neck crack (which you haven't shown in the pictures) and non-original pickups. With the current currency conversion you're asking around 3300$, and you can buy them w/out any issues and the original case for that, and still have change left after you pay the shipping. Elderly, for example, has one that's straight for about 2800$. And that's just dealer asking price- I'm sure in a recession like this they'd bend on the price to move it Oh, BTW- if they have patent # stickers on them, then they're not PAF's. Real PAF's have a small, rectangular sticker on the bottom that says 'Patent Applied For'. I'm sure you didn't mean to be misleading.
  8. the standard trick here is to pull all the tubes and power it up. if it blows the fuse, well that's the power tranny that's gone bad. if not, then try some new tubes. Normal thing here is one of the power tubes that's going bad and running away.

    tenor sax?

blues band? tenor sax? we have space. pm me....
  10. nope, sorry it's sold.
  11. Horn driver, and old amp and a vocal mike to pick up the sounds, they are pretty simple. ~Be careful tho, easy way to damage your hearing if you try it too loud.
  12. Might work, then. All we need now is a fiddle player and we'll finally be *almost* as cool as the Lorelei....
  13. awww, thank you very much.... hmmm, amplified bagpipes then. that's the ticket. anyone?
  14. No, not looking for a band, thanks. I have a solid trio that might benefit from adding a 4th, provided that person's instrument choice was an inspiring one. A good Tenor Sax player would be magic for us right now. And yeah, I have a new drummer to try and fill Kevin's space. We won't go public with names here though, it'll hit my website first. Sorry.....
  15. have band with a space for someone/something strange. you need to be able to count to four, look cool, drive (clean license a plus), be able to spell and show up on time. you should own your gear and not need to borrow my mandolin, or need us to loan you a harpsichord till payday. Ability to plan weeks and weeks ahead a requirement. Ability to see the future is, of course optional. I'd tell you this is a blues band, but it's more like a cross between the devil's music, bad gas and acid jazz. With a notable hendrix twist. PM's if you're interested or as confused as I am. Witty responses will appear below.....
  16. these guys do my replication, it's the best price around if you're getting 1,000 shrink wrapped real CDs' http://www.imusicstage.com/ looks like the web site is down right now, but they're nice, and the turn-around is fast.
  17. All yours! Call you later Mike....
  18. open to offers, it's a great guitar.....
  19. And this also needs to go- an Ipod 120 gig Classic in basic black. No problems at all, great condition and well cared for. Hate to see it go, but I need the money. 150 o.b.o.
  20. Ok, need to sell my Epi LP Custom- gold hardware, white finish, great condition with gig bag. Fresh strings and a pro fret level. Plays and sounds great: 200 o.b.o. Just so you know, I need to sell this, so it'll go to the first kind soul that puts cash in my hand....
