  1. yeah. a harmony, and an old gibson archtop. no flat tops. what you looking for?
  2. *bump* Going to be a great day of music! We've enlisted a great cross section of bands from across Scotland to participate AND have some really great acoustic players at Cellar 35 as well- and that admission tax gets you into both venues. The timing is important too- Haiti relief has fallen out of the public eye in the last couple of weeks, but there are still people in need of clean water and shelter, food and medical care-
  3. Come on G, you know you're about ready for the hammer......
  4. 1. Take Out Hammer. 2. Pulverize. 3. Re-with phone jacks. 4. Done.
  5. They're all just wood and wire. Ever see me kick mine across the floor at Drummonds?
  6. swapped it out a long, long time ago. Still have the original one, but with this one it plays in tune.
  7. Hey, Graeme! Finally a legitimate place for us to post, aren't we the only over-25's on the forum? Are the songs high in fiber? Once you hit 25, well, all that sugar coated pop music goes straight to your hips and you need to start wearing a t-shirt to gigs, otherwise it's ass-crack central when you adjust your pedals.
  8. BTW, there's no BAND called 'food', there'll be food other than crisps available to offset the beer. I'll have my new band there for a short set early on, then an acoustic set at Cellar 35 and a gig at the Moorings in the middle.....

  11. That's a nice guitar too. We hijacking this thread? Mine looks like this.....
  12. That is a nice looking guitar! Damn. Pain. Wow.
  13. See what I mean? No respect. Punk. Graeme has more teeth than that.
  14. yeah, and will anyone listen? kids today, they don't know bupkis.
  15. There you go. Any time you get Graeme and I agreeing? You know that's right!
  16. Ok, a bit of shameless self promotion- My new band, the East Side Kings, is playing at Cellar 35 on Saturday the 20th. Doors at 8, music starts about 9. 3 at the door. If you haven't heard the new band, here's your chance- the East Side Kings is a 5 piece band with horns that plays the old jump blues- kinda like the Brian Setzer Orchestra with a bit of an attitude. It's pretty cool, different from the other t-shirt and jeans blues bands in town... Cheers!
  17. If you're really concerned about money against future earnings, the opinions of the people of this forum are worth squat. You need a solicitor.
  18. Thanks! Roll on to the next one. I'm back there on the 20th. Solo or with the band? Opinions?
  19. Great first night! Nice house full of people and some good music. These nights are off to a great start! Schedule for the next couple of weeks is coming together, but we'll need more performers to keep this rolling. Anyone interested get in touch with Dave and I, ok?
  20. yeah, me as well. it's fine like it is, but if there' someone lurking around here that's going to take it home, they can drill away...
  21. Great idea, I'll do that too! Thanks for the idea. And yeah, it does need a bigsby, but I'll leave that job to the next owner...
  22. Hey, still cleaning house.I have a great old Gretsch Country club for sale, probably mid-1970's. 1,000, ONO.
