  2. I think he's referring to the fact that we weren't 'mighty'.
  3. Just back from the HA show in Edinburgh. I was most impressed. I'd never listened to them before but they're a superb live act. Great sound.
  4. The last Fishstock WBL played with Onion Terror, SEA and MDL (also the last time I played at Drake's) was awesome. Just a really cool vibe that was typical of the venue on a busy night. I don't think I'll ever forget those weekly Fudge quiz shananagans either... The loss of Drake's is such a tragic blow to Aberdeen's scene. I can't see it ever being the same again.
  5. Fuck you, you'll have to wait. It's not our fault - the studio ate our tracks. We'll be back recording after we get our first show out of the way (tomorrow).
  6. Don't forget folks, if you can't get enough of their wonderful stuff, you can also catch Howard's Alias in Edinburgh on Sunday night. The bill also includes Misled Youth, Today We Fight! and Pummel.
  7. Not really local but look out for Today We Fight! - the Edinburgh HXC band featuring ex members of Contra, Misled Youth, My Decaying Leg, We Become Less, Subsistence and Tar. Coming to an Aberdeen venue near you soon. www.todaywefight.co.uk
  8. And anyone in Edinburgh can catch the following bill at The Mercat on Sunday 6th: Howard's Alias Misled Youth Pummel Today We Fight! Why not catch all three shows?
  9. Sounds like you need to talk to 'nullmouse'.
  10. Dunno if anyone got the message but Waz can't make it on Monday. Jimmy on drums again then??
  11. Ghostride. As in Will Haven with a different singer. Fuck.
  12. There's an interview with Underoath in Kerrang this week in which they state that they're not a band who "just happen to be christians". In fact they're in a band together BECAUSE they're christians. Take of that what you will I suppose...
  13. FROM THE MOUTH OF WAZ: "..." He's SPEECHLESS!!!
  14. Er, OK. Bad thread title choice. ANYWAAAAYY, Today We Fight! will be appearing at Dr Drakes on Friday Febuary 25th. www.todaywefight.co.uk
  15. Erm, hardcore but without the bullshit. It's a conscious step away from current trends. A back-to-basics approach where substance is paramount over style. We're not interested in the fashion or scene points - that's what I regard as bullshit.
  16. Cheers Kirk. I'm holding out for the 25th just cos it ties in nicely with some other dates we have. I'll definately be in touch though...
  17. Featuring ex-members of Tar, Contra, Misled Youth, Subsistence, We Become Less and My Decaying Leg. Today We Fight! - Bullshit-free Hardcore
