Wow, now that is a good line up... I was planning on going to Benacassim (sp?) next year though...

I've heard formed a band and modern art, and I'd say they're both great songs. I think it said in nme that an album was planned for next year...

I did listen to Chesney Hawkes earlier on today.

The boxset is the dog's bollocks. The rehearsal of scentless apprentice is great, and the footage of the first live perfomance of smells like teen spirit is super good. The dvd version of jesus don't want me for a sunbeam is class, but i know geffen professionally videoed that entire show, along with the support acts (one was Mudhoney, i think the other was bikini kill or L7)... I wish they'd release that show on dvd.

With Capdown playing in Moshulu, I'll surely be going now. Where do the bands play in Moshulu?

I've not been to moshulu for a long, long time... i used to go for about a year after the palace closed *sob*, but now I always end up in Exodus... Sometimes upstairs at o'neills is good, but like everyone ahs said, sometimes it's a bit of a nightmare getting served at the bar...

Excuse me, but i've been to drakes and drummonds quite alot... ok, i've seen Eric Euan and they were quite good... This thread wasn't an anti pop-punk or metal thread, i was just wondering if there was alot of other bands that would describe themselves as indie...

Bacause, despite what most people say, they like to fit into groups... and I've rarely seen a band in Aberdeen that isn't pop-punk or metal...

Well, I would have to say the snow has been rubbish so far... Is it really slushy in town?

My opinion on snow is that there has to be a shitload of it, meaning staying off school/work/uni, or none at all... a bit of snow is just useless really.

Rainbow is still good if you ask me, I have a Zippy poster in my bedroom... But it's Bungle, i just get this feeling that inside that costume there's a peado just waiting to burst out.

Sparklehorse are pretty good. I'm fairly sure it's just one guy though, mark linkous or something. Not the cheeriest music in the world, but the songs i've heard are good.

Pish song, good cause... I'll probably buy it... i just hope the winner of that damn x factor show doesn't beat it to number 1.
