  1. I was thinking of including Belly, but i thought there would be some "they ain't punk" kind of outcry...
  2. 1. The Breeders/The Amps 2. Blondie 3. Throwing Muses 4. L7 5. Sonic Youth ...k struggling a bit there, but Kim Gordon does kinda fron SY...
  3. mustang basses are short scale of course, but i'd imagine they would be hard to find and a bit expensive...
  4. I bought a chinese squire bass for about 90 3 or 4 years ago, and it's been miles better than any 300ish yamaha i've ever tried...
  5. Awesome, like the hotdogs? like a hundred billion hotdos sir... I think i'll download a song or two...

  8. Polyphonic Spree ~ 5 years Belly ~ Are you experianced? The Breeders ~ Happiness is a warm gun Dave Gilmour and Billy Corgan ~ Wish you were here
  9. I think that Dear Catastrophe Waitress is the best album there. But i hope Keane win it and it kills their career just like it did to Gomez.
  10. Sonic Youth The Breeders Velvet Underground Television Sons and Daughters Vaselines White Stripes The Amps ...to name but a few.
  11. ear protection is for tarts... deaf people rawk.
  12. The Smashing Pumpkins cover of Dancing in the Moonlight (The Thin Lizzy song, not the god awful Toploader one)...
  13. Don't get totally rat arsed before the gig...
  14. The stuff off the new album was great, the barfly gig could have been one of the best gigs of my life... The Bowie cover in the encores both nights was super cool. The sun machine is coming down and we're gonna have a party! It was cool getting into the aftershow party at shepard's bush and chatting with the bands... I also talked to har mar superstar, who actually doesn't look that strange up close, and with his clothes on. And the band don't actually make any money... most of them are doing it for free, and have other bands. The line up is pretty much revolving apart from the core Tripping Daisy members.
  15. ...and they were pretty damn amazing both times... The first gig was on Sunday night in the Camden Barfly, and the second was in Shepard's Bush Empire. They are such an amazing band live, I've now seen them six times live.
  16. Nice to see Belly get mentioned... The last albums i rediscovered were Garbage's debut and Rory Gallagher ~ Irish Tour... I hadn't listened to either of them in about 3 or 4 years and they're both pretty damn good.
  17. Pink Floyd are bunch of damn hippies... all their songs should be disco-alised.
  18. I've got a ticket, and I'm super excited... Never thought i'd ever get to see them live.
  19. Phil Collins loses points for his musical crimes.
  20. That list is total pish... no Dave Grohl in the top 10?!!?! Jimmy Chamberlain at number 40?! that list is a joke. john bonham should be number 1.
  21. I was mostly annoyed that they didn't show macca live on bbc 3 and insisted showing what seemed like 5 hours of bloody basement jaxx! ARGH!! I'm looking forward to seeing Television tonight though... *presses red button*
  22. Good question, as i have a 70's Electro harmonix clone theory i've been meaning to get fixed.
