  1. I dare say that everyone is excited about Go West at the Music Hall on Sunday night?
  2. The same free pizza that decimated your ring piece? Not jealous at all.
  3. Line & Circle // Split Figure Do you like The National, R.E.M., The Replacements and Echo and the Bunnymen? This band does too and they've decided to make good music, which I think even you sons o' bitches can agree is a good idea. An impressive rekkid with no props towards current indie rock trends. Well, at least in my mind, but I'm an old man. 248 out of 310

  5. What is the reasoning? I know some(?) chargers have been banned. I am guessing this is down to idiots spoiling it for everyone else.
  6. Shane Long's goal was a beautiful moment. Jonathan Walters was epic last night, a prince among men.
  7. Pros for Jurgen Klopp: Proven to be a good football manager. Cons for Jurgen Klopp: Klopp sounds very similar to the word "plop", leading to associations with poo.
  8. Noveller // Fantastic Planet Instrumental goodness here, mostly shimmering repetitive guitar melodies playing off one and other. Very few pieces bring crescendos and the album has a slightly off-kilter feel throughout. Parts remind me of 70's sci fi soundtracks with vintage synth squelches and the spareness of some of the arrangements. I like it and some of you sons o' bitches could do well to make a rekkid this good. TWO THUMBS UP
  9. I would check with the band themselves, they might have a few.
  10. Mammoth Penguins - Hide and Seek This is good, it sounds like 'Allo Darling with a fuzzbox. Perhaps a bit one dimensional in places, but there are plenty of melodies and some savage biddly boos. You sons o' bitches would love to make something that sounds like this. 34.5/49.4
  11. Don't you hate it when a really shit song gets stuck in your head and it is usually just a couple of lines? I've got Mike and the Mechanics "Looking Back Over my Shoulder" on constant repeat. Oh, and the horrible confirmation that a large group (a swarm if you will) of residents in Aberdeen are massive racists, judging from comments on the Evening Express and Fubar Facebook accounts. I read that the EE poll about refugees unfortunately closed at 59% against helping anyone. Sad times.
  12. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3242550/Cameron-pig-bemused-look-face-future-PM-took-outrageous-initiation-ceremony-joining-Oxford-dining-society.html Just in case people don't know what all of this is about.
  13. Look at this, Flash is in the Evening Express https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/news/local/aberdeen-bar-to-set-for-new-name-after-500000-revamp/
  14. This is being shared all over social media, which can only be a good thing.
  15. We are dead chuffed with the Lift to Experience comparison! We had Yo la Tengo in mind when we were writing the song.
  16. Hey guys, thought some folk on hear would be interested to hear and see this, comments welcome!
  17. It looks like Jamie Langfield might be smoking a bit of the old "Pink Floyd"... http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33969231
  18. Radical Dads - Mega Rama Meloncholy DIY indie pop. Some of it remind me of late 80's Sonic Youth, so that is a definite "cash back" moment. ****
