St. Paul & the Broken Bones - Half the City I have been listening to this a lot and I like it. very much a throw back to Stax soul, but done in such a way that it doesn't sound ham fisted or a pastiche. They've got chops. 5/7

Anthony Stokes on loan to Dundee Utd, I'll be glad to see the back of him. Shame for Danny Ward, he was doing really well for Aberdeen and it could have gotten him into the Wales squad for Euro 2016. I just can't see him getting into the Liverpool first team this season.

The missus and I had a fair binge on Bowie last night, he was pretty much unequalled when compared to his contemporaries. He always seemed to have a genuine interest in new bands, from bigging up Devo to Sonic Youth, the Pixies to TV on the Radio and Arcade Fire. There are not many artists who cut their teeth in the 60's who have kept an eye on what new artists are doing. He was always well turned out.

Maybe, just wondering about perhaps putting on more conclusive shows, reaching out to folks who perhaps aren't likely to make it along to Tunnels, Cellar 35, Downstairs etc...

I saw this on Sunday and quite enjoyed it. I bloody love a bit of Kurt Russell, which makes his inclusion a big boost. It is perhaps 20-30 minutes too long, and nothing particularly new for a Tarantino film. Good cast performances and excellent dialogue, but I think some of the back stories *(especially Samuel L Jackson's flashback) was not really needed and slowed the pace of the movie down a bit too much. When I think about it, I would rank this as the 8th best Tarantino directed movie.

Does anyone think that Liverpool will play him?

Hi all, just wondering about any venues or potential venues in the shire, places like Inverurie and Westhill for example. What kind of experience have folk had with them, how are they kitted out etc?
