To get from my house into town, I have to get two buses, which costs 5.10 altogether. However, I can usually get a lift to the Inverurie bus stop, so it's "only" 3.20. It's ridiculous that buses don't have a student discount or anything. I get a reduced train fare from 3.50 to 2.30 with my Young Person's Railcard, but there aren't that many trains a day, so I have to fork out almost a tenner to get from my house to Aberdeen and back.

Everyone else on the list knows at least two people who are also on the list. It seems you're the only one who doesn't, so obviously it was organised to suit the majority. It would have been unnecessary and a waste of money to post the CDs instead of swapping in person. Plus, I live further out of Aberdeen than Stonehaven, and I'm managing to swap fine.

Yay, finished my CD. Managed to cram 26 songs on there. I messed up the actual CD though, by doodling on it. Hopefully it'll look cute. ...Not.

I thought it was pretty good, but preferred the Oompa-Loompa songs in the Gene Wilder version to this one. Too jazzed up for my liking. I thought the casting was really good though, especially of the five ticket-winners. And the factory itself was incredible, with the scenery and special effects and everything. I didn't really like the ending though, or the added parts to the story about the flashbacks to Willy Wonka's troubled childhood. But yeah, it's definitely worth a trip to the cinema.

The book's written by Julie Birchill (sp). but I'm not sure if she had anything to do with the script for the programme.

Sugar Rush hearts Nouvelle Vague. The book is way better than the programme, but the programme is still very watchable indeed. And yeah, I wouldn't be whining if Tom was MY next door neighbour!
