  1. That was the best gig ever. I almost died from happiness when 10 Easy Wishes finished with "Overthrown". I never ever thought you'd play it. Pyscho and Onion Terror were both super good as well. As was the "after party" in Exodus. Apart from I lost my phone. And then had to walk for miles until we managed to get a taxi. BUT. Aye. It was great.
  2. I got a taxi yesterday from Inverurie to Daviot. I'll phone up later to check it's still ok. It's ridiculous that 307 and 737 buses aren't running. The main roads are pretty much clear. The 308 service, which goes through Daviot, is still running. The roads here haven't been cleared since the snow started! Sorry, just ranting about country buses. Geez.
  3. I'm going to have to spend about £20 on taxis and trains and everything getting in tonight. It had better be worth it!
  4. I'm properly snowed in, out here in the sticks. I wouldn't even manage to get my car out of the drive. If this snow messes up my weekend plans...if I can't get to the Lemon Tree on Friday night...oh my, it'll be a disaster.
  5. And what language do you speak? Lolz, I hate the English.com.
  6. I'm just going for the banter and everything, before I leave Aberdeen for uni next year. The line up so far doesn't really make me weep in anticipation for the music, but I'm crossing my fingers that Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! and The Go Team! will play. It's going to be crazy good.
  7. I'm going to see The Mighty Boosh! in Edinburgh on the 24th. BUT. The cast are doing a DVD signing in Virgin Megastore on Buchanan Street in Glasgow this Sunday. From 2.30-3.30. So I might go down JUST for that. And see all you cool cats there.
  8. The Eels! Pharrell Williams! THE GO! TEAM! CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH!!!?!?!? Jesus Christ, I actually can't wait.
  9. Friday... Oh. You mean 10 Easy Wishes' LAST EVER GIG at the Lemon Tree? Aye, see you later!
  10. I was devastated to miss almost all of The Holy Folks. That made me super sad. I thought Fluffy and the Rainbow Bunnies were really good. At previous gigs I hadn't been that keen on them, but they sure know how to work a crowd. I thought : ( started well, but after a while it became a bit same-y. Also, it was really hard to hear the keyboards/synths/whatever over Mart's singing/screaming and Adam's drumming. But I'd still definitely go and see them again. They're the most original act going in Aberdeen at the moment. The snow was pretty good as well.
  11. Oh, The Kaiser Chiefs are growing on me. And I always thought Franz Ferdinand were pretty good. I really can't decide about The Artic Monkeys, though. I liked "I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor", but now their voices just get on my nerves a bit. I think.
  12. Faria: Is an idiot. You actually think you're famous, but you're really not. Dennis: Why would any woman ever have sex with him? George: Has a disturbingly seductive voice, but is a complete prick. Jodie: Hypocritical, and too stupid to even know what it means. Rula: Care? Pete: Attempts to take the moral high ground, but is just as bitchy as the rest. At least he can argue coherently, though. Maggot: Do something exciting. Traci: Isn't famous. Preston: Alright looking, but seems a bit boring. Barrymore: STOP FUCKING CRYING ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Chantelle: Has great hair.
  13. Oooh, I've seen the first 10 episodes of this series. But now I have to wait weeks for the 11th episode. Crap.
  14. I have a few, so I'll share one with you: Pass my driving test.
  15. I still haven't seen Nathan Barley, but I want to. Because I've been told it has Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt in it. And I love The Mighty Boosh! more than words can say.
  16. Well, I got lost in all the arguing, but still voted for The Welles.
  17. Being in the Army makes you a cunt? What?
  18. All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey. Oh, and Do They Know It's Christmas? - Band Aid 20.
  19. God, I can't help totally slowing down when I get to "W, X, Y, Z", because in my head I'm singing the alphabet song, and the rhythm always slows down right at the end. My best is 5.something.
  20. Yeah, I don't understand how to use that. But thanks anyway. I just need some kind of programme that I can drag my iTunes AAC files into, and easily convert them into MP3 files. I'm no computer whizz.
  21. I've exchanged my useless I-pod Mini for a Creative Zen Micro. Can anyone help me with some information about converting AAC files into MP3 files? I'll be your best friend forever. Thanks!
  22. I keep missing the new series by either being out/working. But I have both series 1 and 2 DVDs...series 1 is definitely superior. I hope series 3 is as good as that.
