Well we (ClearTone) are sorta a meldic rock band, we aint to heavy in general, we just rock out.... Sorta 3 Doors Down meets 'Black Album' Metallica... risactonia are thrash metal gods! Or so their website says.... So i gather they kick ass!

The fee is 4.50 Its gonna be a fantastic night! Surely Risactonia aint playing two gigs in two nights?

POD (effects processor) 15 months old, hardly used in that time but never gigged. It is in fantastic condition and really is a great piece of kit. Amp modelling, chorus, reverb, drive, tremolo, delay, fuzz, wah, volume... and much more, all at your fingertips. I am selling it complete with the floorboard controller (which has a built in tuner, wah pedal and volume pedal - quality controls at your feet!l) and a carrying case for the unit... I am looking for offers of 200? Happy to arrange viewings... Although, pelase no time wasters.... This is a top piece of equipment.

Metropolis Pt.2 by Dream Theater is one of the best albums I have ever listened to... Its continuation of themes, through different styles is pure genius!

Two Aberdeen bands, New Faith and ClearTone are doing a four date mini tour at the beginning of summer which includes dates in Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are wanting to knwo if theres anyone down there who can help with some word or mouth, or help us seel tickets, as we cannot be down there all the time in the run up to shows? Maybe you stay in Glasgow or Edinburgh, or have contacts/friends down there?

Driver/Roadie Required... Will pay if necessary... ClearTone and New Faith have been looking into the possibility of a tour to include Glasgow, Edinburgh and possibly Dundee dates. There has been a lot of interest shown by venues, and they are in the process of putting a concrete plan together. However, for this to go ahead they are looking for all kinds of help. Particularly, in terms of transport. They currently have one driver to take part, and they are on the look out for at least one other. Preferably, they would be looking for a driver with a people carrier or MPV, but this is not essenial, just a car would be a start. Maybe there are people who have helped out bands like this before, or anybody with enthusiasm for the music scene to help? They would be open to any kind of suggestion, Is there anyone who would be willing to help out, and join in with a venture that promises a lot of laughs, good music and success. Or maybe you know someone who would be interested? Anybody done this before? Reply or PM me with any suggestions, ideas etc. Thanks

Does anybody have any recommendation on venures, some contact info, websites? Also, does anybody know of any message board sites like this one, that are based in the likes of Edinburgh/Glasgow etc? Any help or info would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!

RnB beat Bruce Millers for guyitar repairs... however they are not the best. I woudl suggest granite Rock Guitrars or Prosound.

The digitech Compression/Sustainer is a great pedal, fasntastic sustain.

If youcan get a hold of a good teacherits amazing the difference you will find when you start getting training. Even just from a confidence point of view.. My teacher teaches through college and doesnt doexternal lessons. However, I was recommended the Music Centre on Holburn Street, and Tara Leiper from the College. But I never took these up, but you really should look into it.
