  2. jesus fucking christ. thats the craziest thing i've heard for centuries!
  3. their cover of 'mr grieve's is soultastic
  4. One day I left the house and didn't go back.
  5. i guess the forthcoming (yeah we've been saying that for a while' date=' but i mean it this time..) webzine [url']www.eatingpaper.com is technically an 'aberdeen' zine, though I doubt we'll be covering many local bands, if any.
  6. 18 people turned up last night, thankfully we didn't have to fork out any nomad am money though. Speaking of Nomad AM money, whoever stole our money at gavfest, return it. that's right. X-(

'Since We Last Spoke' was kinda dissapointing.
  8. i don't think anyone really believes that gavfest happened. I'd like to meet the person who stole tent pegs, as I was blamed by some people I've never met before, and I wasn't happy
  9. thats not really a problem with the lemon tree itself, that happens at almost every show, whatever the venue.
  10. I don't like what happened with our money, its rubbish.
  11. I remember Gavfest. I remember tents being wrecked. I remember lime hurting neil's eye. I remember the princess leia/rubbish man, and his screaming. I remember some sort of music. I remember the look of paul milne's face, right until i left at 8am or something silly. gavfest eh?
  12. I hear you can fit a whole person in the gigantic gavfest bbq?
  13. You'd be totally awesomely correct! there are also three dedalus songs on the new dedalus/politik split ep, which i believe has sold more copies than the hives, in one up. score!
  14. aha! perhaps you should have read your post two times, typos ahoy!
  15. the 'live at cbgb's' album you've bought is great, as is the aforementioned mike patton collaboration 'maldoror' - which is a great album to fall asleep to by the way. The only other merzbow recordings I have is the recently released "last of the analog sessions" which is a 3cd box of....his last analog sessions. Its worth looking into, I quite like it.
  16. Why would you want to hear music you already "know about" when in a shop? I assume if you like the music so much as to make a thread about your grievances about this on a messageboard, you own the albums/ep's/etc you want to hear? Perhaps you could listen to those..?
