  1. When I first got my BR1100 (or 1180 or whatever it is), I had similar problems. I found that I wasn't mastering properly, and once I was, the recordings worked fine. Have you made sure you are trying to convert the mastered version of the tracks?

Yes, and we had our first rehearsal yesterday - good times, good times! I'm down on the Shore, next to the Raj - you down here too? Chris, TFAC is a bit too Prince for my liking... (More songs up, and all of them are now on Curators <curatemusic>)

    That's another couple up.
  12. I like this rather a lot. Added!
  13. Whenever I'm playing bass, I'll use my Rat as a distortion. It can't give a hugely varied amount of sounds, but it does melt my face and keep the bottom end. Chris used to use the Boss bass distortion peal in Deadenstereo, and that was pretty decent at keeping the bottom end too, although purists hate it

I can honestly say that's a first! Thanks for having a listen

There are now 6 tracks up, and possibly a band on the way
  16. Oh aye, back on topic, I thought the two singles from "You Are The Quarry" were ok. But, much like an Old Firm fan pub quiz, I'd rather this particular contest had no winners, only fatalities. Well, perhaps not fatalities, but I'd certainly enjoy seeing McTwat hung out to dry.
  17. Erm, I'm not trying to stir, but do you mean you and your husband are leaving the country? For a better life? Much like, dare I say it, the Poles you mention?... If you mean you're moving round the corner, please ignore the above.
  18. To be fair, every single Epi Thunderbird in the history of the universe is massively neck-heavy. I'm not sure a small relocation of the strap button can really solve that.
