  1. Wirelessly posted (MOT-T720/PM_G_05.31.1CR MIB/2.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Link/5.1.1a) Pinkerton is easily one of my fav all time albums, I love it to bits. Anyone else think that Weezer should get Matt Sharp (not Pat Sharp!!) back? Downloaded MPEGs from the recent show Rivers & Matt did together, they r great!
  2. Wirelessly posted (MOT-T720/PM_G_05.31.1CR MIB/2.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Link/5.1.1a) I only noticed errors on like one of the videos. It is a little annoying though. Oh and Dawson's Creek kicks the OC's ass!

  5. Wirelessly posted (MOT-T720/PM_G_05.31.1CR MIB/2.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Link/5.1.1a) The new weezer DVD is a must-have 4 all hardcore weeze fans. My bro picked it up in Elgin a few weeks back & its fantastic. If you've not seen it, you will not believe your eyes when you see some of the rareties on it! You can watch everything on it, incl
  6. Just bought Weezer's Blue Album (Delux Edition) and I must say that i'm a very happy bunny now! The second CD is fantastic - acoustic versions of On One Else and Jamie are just wow. The whole of album has been remastered and sound bitchin! Weezer were such a great band round about the time they released this record. I also purchased Seafood's new record which came out yesterday, off to give it a listen.
  7. Cheers to everyone who came down to Kef last night! Jetplane were just superb, as were SEA and Turning 13. The best set i've seen from SEA in a few gigs (although they are always top notch!) and Turning 13 were rawkin as usual. Very encouraging for the local scene to see such a good turn out, never seen Kef so busy.
  8. Student return from Aberdeen to Forres is 7.35 (roughly). A single is a fiver. Its very cheap, my saving grace when The Gloria Flaw were based in Forres.
  9. All the number 10 buses from Aberdeen to Inverness stop in Forres and if you ask the bus driver nicely he'll drop you off at the end of the road which leads the the East Grange Loft. The loft regularly puts on mini-buses to take punters from Forres to the Loft and back for gigs as the venue is out on the sticks. If you are arriving early, I would suggest that you go into Forres itself and see about getting on to the mini bus. If you want to do this, you'll have to phone Grigor at the Loft to book a place on the bus (assuming he is organising one). The Loft's number is on the ticketmaster website I think. You should all come through early and spend the day in Forres. If the weather is nice, its great. Excellent pubs!
  10. With regards to busted, well said Murray. The Dum Dums were fantastic and piss over busted from a great height. I also saw them at T in the Park a few years back, its a crying shame they never went stellar. Oh, and Todies cousin is doing my head in also.
  11. We've got a new song (which we opened with at Moshulu last night) that sounds like Explosions in the Sky. What a great band, i kick myself every day for missing them @ Drummonds earlier this year. I may have to venture down to Glasgow to see them in the summer. Clive Ravensby are very good, a bit like Mogwai, Godspeed et al.
  12. If the rumours are correct, this line-up is going to get even better!!
  13. Yes, we are based in Aberdeen now, thanks for the mention. Good to see an Upstarts fan as well. This thread has gone off in a bit of a tangent hasn't it? I like Pavement and Thrice. I will admit I like Pavement a lot more but i wouldn't turn my nose up at a Thrice fan.
  14. Is a shame that the tour has been cancelled, I was looking forward to playing with them at the Forres date. I'm sure there was no way this could have been avoided - my thoughts go out to team biffy. Hopefully they will have the opportunity to re-schedule soon.
  15. We are planning recording in the next 2/3 weeks in order to have something to submit for T-break. We've not been in the studio for 18 months as a result of various line-up changes and relocating to Aberdeen, so it should be fun! We should hopefully have some recordings for ya all quite soon, hopefully before the Aconite Thrill gig.
  16. This gig should be great. I know very little of Aconite Thrill but from what i've heard, it should be a fun gig to play! Niall (TFG) mentioned they were very rawkin.
  17. Shhh...don't tell everyone. Its meant to be be a surprise!
  18. Wirelessly posted (MOT-T720/PM_G_05.31.1CR MIB/2.0 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0 UP.Link/5.1.1a) Bring it on!

  20. Agreed. We were sounding more rawkin yesterday than we have in a long time....lots of hard work training Lewis (our new front-man) up and working on new material starting to pay off now methinks. The Fudge Awards is going 2 be such a great night!
  21. I think we are going to have to dress to kill with being the opening act on the night. I'm really excited about The Fudge Awards.....i've never been before! Other than meeting lots of you lovely people from this forum i'm not exactly sure what to expect.
  22. I can't wait for the Fudge Awards, its going to be much fun! Turning 13 get my vote for best rock act and Fickle Public or SEA for best international act.
