Ok stage times look like this (but of course I'm sure won't run as smoothly) but get down early 8.10: Shutterspeed 8.45: Autumn in Disguise 9.20: Escape to Victory 9.55: Edleweiss Pirates 10.30: Anonymous Tip

Autumn in Disguise have asked if they can play and as they rather good, we've got an even tastier bill on the go! This means set times will be reverted back to 25 mins (with 10 minute changeovers as the plan as long as all bands hurry up getting on and off the stage) with 40-45 mins for Anonymous Tip and first band will be on at 8.10. More specific info to follow...

Daydream Frenzy have pulled out as well. Thats 4 local bands that have pulled out of GFN? nights in 2 gigs, it's a bit annoying cos it seems like there is no point even spending hours walking round town getting posters up. The radio I use at work can pick up only the 'racist' Talksport or Original (but only Original because no other station is daft enough to play nothing but Now That's What I Call Music CDs from the 90s) 106 and I think the time has come to buy a radio that I can hear 5Live or 6 Music on. Can anyone recommend a cheap one? And pardon my ignorance but are they just as simple as turn on and play or can they only be used in a place with internet connection or anything like that?

If being a Hull City supporter has taught me anything it's that we are a lucky bunch. In 1998/99 the horrible manager/chairman team of Mark Hately and David Lloyd almost dragged City to the the conference for the first time only for Warren Joyce to steer the club to safety. Similarly in 2006/7 it looked like relegation from the Championship was definite until the final day of the season when Leeds Utd went down instead. And of course last season, everyones favourites for relegation managed to stay up thanks to Newcastle being even worse. So not only are Hull survivors but there is a history of sending big clubs down a division too. I predict at least 3 wins and 2 draws from the upcoming fixtures and for the Hammers to go down. Which seems fair cos most West Ham fans (with the exception of Steve Harris) seem to be knobs anyway.

Now opening the night is the much anticipated debut of Aberdeen's favourite new band...Shutterspeed!

Alas, no sooner was the poster made did Upstart Heroes inform me that they can't play as they cant get into Aberdeen as their from Ellon and none of them can drive or something...anyone else want to play?

Great night (cept for Tunnels being freezing as usual these days) Flora opened the night off well, both touring bands were a joy to watch, seemed to be enjoying themselves and just make such wonderful pop music. Deportees were a nice surprise, very prog at times - the 2nd song reminded me of what I imagine Peter Gabriel would sound like if he did reggae, I look forward to seeing them again. Wish there was a bigger turnout though...
