  5. Apparently Converge are back in March Norma Jeans new singer is really good Beecher are kicking ass Every Time I Die are on amazing form on the current tour and Howard Jones from Killswitch Engage sounds great on record despite sounding like he`s siging from inside a cardboad box live
  6. Good to hear it.... Definately a maturer sound.... They`ve got a fair few eps of older material that they shall hopefully air.
  7. *Cough* don`t give him a flyer for Moshulu as he`ll sue! *Cough*
  8. Fucking ace band..... Great live if you get the chance.. Flik loves em... Cigarette counter tonight huh!
  9. Christiansen - March 26th - Moshulu Christiansen are signed to Revelation. They supprted Glassjaw on the last tour or were meant to... They are very very good. For fans of Thursday / Coheed and Cambria / Jetplane Landing and the slightly dischordant crowd. Should be with two ther supports. Hopefully one shall be Hiding With Girls although that`s unconfirmed. I`ll keep y`all posted Love the forum Neil!
  10. I`ve done a few playbacks in my time but not the whole album. Paul did the 100 broken windows one as i recall hearing about it. I did do a toploader one mind.
  11. Trust me that wasn`t me djing. A maximum of 3 songs per band in one night is my limit. I have occasionally gone over this but only when the said band was playing Abereen. I think you are getting me confussed with Paul.....as in 2000/2001/2002 he was still doing the Mudd Club. Oh and PJ Harvey is amazing.....

  16. Head of Samiam..... Good stuff... Solea (http://www.solea.org) is Sergie from Samaim`s side project. They`ve been on the go for a number of years now and played/toured with The Exit, Hot Water Music, Idlewild, Hey Mercedes etc....
  17. I have a tokai 1982 bass... It`s been defretted and has EMG and Kent Armstrong pickups..... It`s a lovely bass to play..... My 2 cents
  18. PRS guitars are lovely guitars from what I can gather from people I know who play then. Sikth/Aconite Thrill etc swear by them....also a hell of a lot of metal/metalcore bands use them.

    libertines

Apologies.. I must be getting old...(see other thread) .... I think the Libertines are utter tripe.... I`ve heard the recent album and i`ve seen be be more uplifted by the sound of paint drying. Each to their own..... Jon Spencer Blues Explosion or The International Noise Conspiracy all the way.....

  22. Dave Stewart.. A walking legend and alround nice guy. What Dave doesn`t know simply inst worth knowing. His help for small bands and the way that he instantly puts everything on hold to help even the most futile of cases is second to none. Dave Stewart is the hidden prize gem in Aberdeen`s crown.
