No Comply are female fronted and are actually really good live. They suck on record however. Save Ferris were one of the best female fronted "Ska" bands.... Although then you get into The Selector and the more "Trad Ska" scene of the early 80s. Then there is the Original Ska from rocksteady etc from Jamaica in the 1960s.... I`m almost certain but "Ska" came from an almalgamation of Rocksteady and Reggae with a more dancehall feel. It`s all Jazz originally.... Proper Bo!

Hiding With Girls are the main support for Christiansen. Couple that with me finding out that Ignite are playing the Barfly on the 28th April then it just gets better and better. Ripper!

Drummond, who once burnt 1 million in cash on a Scottish island, will spend a week in Northern Ireland in May preparing soup. The stunt is part of Drummonds The Soup Line, and will run as part of Belfasts Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival from April 30 to May 5. "In May 1998, Bill made soup for people in a house in Belfast," said Sarah Hughes, a festival spokesperson. "In January 2003 he made soup for a people in a house in Nottingham. He's now taken a map of the British Isles and drawn a line across it - right through Belfast and Nottingham - and called it The Soup Line. "Anybody living on the line is welcome to invite him to their home and have him make soup for their family and close friends." The line passes through some curious towns, including Inch Burnfoot in Donegal and Portavogie outside of Belfast. In 2002, Drummond launched the silent protest playing cards, which were used as a silent call for peace. Err.. i think you may be missing the point. This whole thing "Best Of" is just the record company trying to force Axl`s hand. Basically the deal is that GnR still have another album to release. Thus by the record company (Universal/Vivendi) releasing this it means that they can drop GnR without having to pay a massive compensation bill. I wouldn`t be surprised if this happened down the line. The record company will probably be paying a retainer per year to Axl until the album comes out. Sales of GnR albums are at the highest that they have been since the band split and thus it makes business sence for the record company to capitalise before the trend shifts.

Now that`s the real deal.....
