I read the story too although in 1998 the Mudd Club was downstairs in the Palace on a Monday and attracted 800 people every week. Rock night upstairs was on a Saturday.... Unless you mean the rock/metal bit that was upstairs in 98 on a monday which was dj`d by Paul Auty or a spelling along those lines....

Joey Santiago used to attack his amp during songs.. hence some of the sounds in certain songs.. There is a soung of him shaking his valve amp in one song but I can`t remember which off the top of my head.

Because I didn`t book them for Aberdeen as I felt that it was too large a fee to justify two Scottish dates outwith Glasgow... Aswell as this I know the promotor who is putting it on in Dundee and thus it makes sence for us to work together and not split the crowd. Ross

Thoughts... Personally I enjyed all the bands.... King Liar and Nero being a close tie although Nero just edging it for me.... Shall look forward to catching King Liar again in Drakes soon... May 14th I think.
