  1. I'm Mark, 17, lived in Aberdeen for a couple of years before moving to Inverurie for like, 8 years. Moved to the middle of nowhere after that and have lived here for 7 years now. I went to Strathburn Primary (before it burned down), then moved to rothienorman primary (hated that place, still do). I'm currently in my 6th year at Inverurie Academy, and it sucks ass. I just want to leave and do nothing for a while so I can clear my head and think about what I want to do!!
  2. Hmmm, found this on the warriors remake. "During a recent chat with MyMovies.net, Domino director Tony Scott talked briefly about his plans for redoing the 70's street gang flick, which he has said won't be moving forward until sometime in 2006. Many consider Walter Hills 1979 film, in which a New York posse must try and get home to Coney Island alive after being framed from the murder of a gang leader, to be untouchable. But fans could be in for a surprise because Scotts impending epic is moving the action to the West coast. "I see it as "Kingdom Of Heaven" meets "The Warriors" because with these gangs, instead of having twenty or thirty guys, Im going to have three thousand, five thousand guys in the LA river beds and its going to look like LA during the riots," Tony told us explaining "I love the original movie, thats why Im in doing this but Im not going to copy the original." Link to it is here: http://www.movieweb.com/news/news.php?id=9538
  3. Yeah, my financial status is really quite questionable at the moment. I have to wait about 3 weeks before I see another pile of dosh in my bank account
  4. I got a "shit, that's impressive" at 9 minutes 3 seconds with a total score of 124012. This game is the most addictive thing I've played in a while!
  5. 5 minutes and 12 seconds, total score of 67332. That game rules.
  6. Some places sell them at 12p a pop.
  7. Pickled onion space raiders are the inferior choice. If available, one should always purchase the beef flavoured space raiders as they kick ass.
  8. I'm on Myspace. Don't think anyone will be able to guess what I look like though (unless they know me already, in which case I hope they do remember what I look like)
  9. I work in somerfield in Inverurie. I get 4.80 an hour, about to work 17 to 18 hours standard a week, plus every third sunday at time and a half (that's 7.20 an hour!) so it's not too bad. Should be making about 350 a month soon-ish.
  10. yeah, I saw it coming. Just didn't see it coming at such a high price Ah well, I'll try out some of these methods (putting parents on and the like) and do pass plus and just grin and bear it. I live in the middle of nowhere so it's kinda essential that I have a car. If I want to go to uni then I can't afford to live in town so I'd rather just have a reasonably nice car. At least I'll appreciate it because it looks like I'm going to have to work my ass off to be able to afford it.
  11. Phhh, all I get is an introductory kick in the reproductive organs.
  12. Bah, I can't even afford a can of coke let alone a car and insurance! I spoke to ye olde boss at work today though about getting some extra hours, and I figure if I only spend about 20 a week on crap as opposed to 50 I can quickly gain some capital to pay for it. Although the 1.4CL polo would be nice, I don't know how realistic it is that I can afford it, insurance, tax and petrol without some serious financial help from my parents. *sigh* I'm such a dumbass, I should've started saving ages ago except my original plan was to buy a reasonably old ford fiesta from my uncle for 200. Ah well, my mither's offering to let me share her car (1.3 Punto Sport, very nice car) until about April when she's getting another one, at which point I can buy it off of her if I want it.
  13. feeble!

    Idiot?

I ate bread. Sounds kinda boring in comparison
  14. There is that factor. I was at a driving awareness thing last night which really hammered home how dangerous cars can be if used incorrectly. Scared the bejesus out of me, although I was annoyed at the fact that the school made every single 5th year attend it and didn't offer the opportunity to the 6th years who are the ones doing the driving at this stage in the year. I had to go in my own free time at night Was worth it though, and also it looked good on me when I went and complained to senior management at school about the fact that 6th years were excluded from the whole thing
  15. Haha, absolutely brilliant!
  16. Bleh, I just got my cheapest quote back from confused.com and it rolls in at 1384.95 for TPFT. Why is insurance such a bastard?
  17. I thought taste of chaos were a band aswell.
  18. I'd get one, but I'm not in the money at the moment, so I can't afford it I'll probably end up getting one in about 4 or 5 months.
  19. Putting your parents on your insurance? This actually works?
  20. Ouch! That's not good, not good at all! I really need to book and pass my test asap. I live in the middle of nowhere, knowing how to drive and not legally being able to do it is such a pain in the ass.
