You can't exactly download from here but it tells u where u can get it for a ridiculous price

thanks for that, i actually came across the site just after i posted here! there was an e mail link so fingers crossed. its a damn fine site for anyone who has an interest in the roses, the bootlegs are only 3-50 on tape, 11 on CD, also came across a few things on e bay including compilations of early stuff and jams from the second coming sessions.

and HMV are selling John Robb's excellant book on the history of the band for just three quid at the moment, a must for any fan.

and Ian Brown's new album is superb too.

as for eil, they dont deal in bootlegs but is an excellant place to go for rareities, they tend to specialise in stuff like radio promos and foreign imports.

I think I've still got a bootleg of the Stone Roses' last gig if that helps, though a) my memory is a bit bit shady because 90% of my boots are out in the sticks, and b) that'll probably be the only Stone Roses boot I have post-Squire.

did you know the guitarist touring with Ian Brown right now is from Aberdeen. He plays in Fools Gold (Roses tribute band) and used to be my guitar teacher.

Are you sure ? The guitarist touring with Ian Brown at the moment as far as I know is the rather superb Aziz Ibrahim who has toured with Ian since the Stone Roses days, and who has co-written pretty much all of his material.

Cheers

did he not sack a lot of his band before the start on this tour and got in various members of Fools Gold to replace them?

Yeah probably. Steve from Fools Gold is definitely playing on this tour. Don't know what the bassist is called. I so happy for Steve cos he was a huge Roses fan and this must be a dream come too true. A week ago he played Manchester and Noel G, James Lavelle and Mani made special appearances. Lucky bastard!
