  1. There's software available called Any Dvd which removes the copyright etc. But I'm thinking your friend may have to rip the dvd to his laptop for this to work.
  2. I spoke to the lead singer the last time they played up here. He wasn't too happy when i told him that i thought Noel Gallagher (one of his best mates) was a wanker.
  3. I say kill all the fucking birds. Especially seagulls. For all we know they could be carrying more deadly diseases than bird flu - what with all the shite they eat, they could be carrying fatal strains of food poisoning but noones worried about that.
  4. It's either 0808 9933 001 or 0808 9933 031. I had to set it up for someone a few months ago and 1 of them is BT and the other is Wanadoo but I can't remember which is which.
  5. The 17 will take you to Inn at the Park which is about 100 yards from the Ferryhill entrance.
  6. I don't really care if you don't believe me. This isn't the first time this has happened, although the last time the speed was only a 5th of what it was this time. I spoke to my uncle about it (who used to own a computer programming and maintenence company and now programs computer for satelite tv channels) and he said that from time to time, when your ISP isn't busy it puts out ridiculous speeds. My other uncle builds computers for the Ministry of Defence since he retired from the R.E.M.E and he said there could be several reasons for this happening.
  7. Canny believe I missed that. Captain Beefheart is one of my favourites at the moment.
  8. Only an American would say such a stupid thing. Does that mean if we were to abort all American babies that the world would become a more sensible place?
  9. ...... is it possible to download at a speed of 5.5MB/s when my download speed is 1MB? 1GB=3 minutes. Holy Shit
  10. I believe they call it an annular eclipse. Apparently this is when the moon is too far away from Earth, therefore it's apparent size isn't big enough to cover the entire disk of the sun leaving a ring of light around the edge. To answer your question, I didn't even know about it until I saw it on the news at 10. Looked pretty cool though.
  11. I think I speak for every football fan by hoping that they are still thereabouts come May but I really don't think they'll keep up the good run. I was kinda pissed off to read what Pressley said in todays sun. They came back from 2 goals down with 10 men and that any other team would've just crumbled. Didn't he read the sunday papers? Am I right or did the dons not overcome the same deficit with the same amount of players to a team that are way better than Falkirk in my opinion? What an arrogant twat.
  12. Oh, and the dandies will get into Europe by winning the scottish cup
  13. Only 3 points ahead of celtic and they still have to face them. I know we're only 9 games in but if Celtic beat win I think that could be the bubble burst as far as winning the league's concerned, but they will qualify for Europe. The league has been more exciting so far with hearts doing so well and the fact that the huns have lost so many at this stage but I think they will find their feet before it's too late and finish 2nd. Prediction: 1st Celtic 2nd Rangers 3rd Hearts 4th Hibs 5th Dons 6th Kilmarnock 7th Motherwell 8th Inverness 9th Falkirk 10th Dundee Utd 11th Dunfermline 12th Livingston I will probably be nowhere near accurate come May but that's how I think it will end.
  14. I must say I do agree. It's just a shame that we did so well last season because the expectations are far too high this time around. Ok, so JC has probably made the best signings and assembled the best squad we've seen since the days of Alex Smith but I would be happy with a top 6 finish this season and be more prepared for a serious challenge next season when all the loan stars at Hearts go back to their clubs.
  15. This proves that we were missing Mackie up front. A few seasons ago he was the one that everyone booed when he came on the park, now we can't wait for him to come on and rescue a draw from the jaws of defeat. Ok, so he may not be fully fit but with International games coming up he has an extra week to prove to the jimmy's that Lovell was a waste of money. I believe that come the end of the season that Crawford will become a favourite with the red army, although Mackie will beat him in the goal stakes by at least 7-10 goals.
