colb
Don't know where to post this and i'm too much of a wuss to make a new thread so i'll stick it here... I finally got myself kitted out with new DJing equipment and done a wee summertime mix. https://soundcloud.com/matthewrobinson/bushwick-summer It's just the raw output so the levels might be a bit wack and it's the first mixing I've done in about 5 years so go easy. Style-wise it's a total mixed bag - a bit of afro beat, cumbia and other latin stuff, some hip hop, some electro, some pop - A good representation of my tastes. Hope you enjoy! Decent mix, none of the transitions were jarring and the beats matched. My flatmate really liked it.

SeaOfEnergy
Trap beat. buildups a bit hasty/rough but I'm happy with the flow after the drop at least. Thoughts/listens appreciated. Edited February 13, 2015 by SeaOfEnergy
The Ghost Of Fudge
https://altrocktm.bandcamp.com/album/vine-of-the-dead gave up trying to embed link, but here's some learning-garageband electro cuts that I made with some collaborators. it's like a tired Godzilla Blues meets a bored seas, starry, or something. Alkaline
I've started a new dark-electronica project called The Revenant, I'm working on two songs at the moment with a view to putting out an EP later this year or early next year. Looking for vocalists to work with, particularly female vocalists with a Portishead/London Grammer vibe. Here's a couple of snippets of what I'm working on at the moment, as always feedback is appreciated: Edited August 15, 2015 by Alkaline
FatHand
I've been away from AbMus for a while so thought I just carry on where I left off. Bit of a mix, all live recordings using my ever expanding collection of sequencers, samplers, synths and effects boxes all tied up in a tangle of leads and midi cables. Let's hear what has been going on with things since 2015 or whenever the last post was...

Soda Jerk
I made this glitchy beat using just a Pocket Operator KO sampler, and synced it with a Chali 2na acapella from Youtube, recorded via my mixer's line out into my phone, cuz if you ain't lo-fi, you no-fi. PO's are the business.
Soda Jerk
I got a Bass Station 2 recently. Still getting my head around everything it's capable of, but I knocked together this drum n bass/breakbeat thing with it, just to give it a bit of a test drive: It's a bit sloppy, because the BS2 isn't great at tracking external midi clock, so it's all live overdubs over drum samples, no programming or anything, cos I don't have the patience for that. I just need to get tighter at playing.
Soda Jerk
Did another DnB thing. Sequenced a bunch of breaks on my Digitakt, sliced and mangled them up, and stuck them all together. Fed the track in to Mixcraft and made some bass noise over it with a Bass Station 2, Volca Kick and a harmonic percolator. Spammed those high pass filters. Deal with it. Soda Jerk
The above breakbeat thing became an EP/double A-side whatever, and the excellent Sun Hole Records has released it. Its a cool pay-what-you-want digital release label, but there's a ton of great stuff on there, if horrible electronica noise is your bag. https://sunholerecords.bandcamp.com/album/shr048-hospitals-manufacturing 2
