AlanBalan
Hi DieselI have a 1973 Marshall 50W Tremelo Head and an angled (top of stack) 4x12 cabinet(not sure of age yet but pre JCM 800).Neither has been used for years but both worked fine the last time they were.(the tremelo on the amp didn't work when I bought it back in the late 80's)I can provide serial no. etc for the amp and photos.I was going to give them away but have only just discovered (not been playing guitar for years)that some of these older amps etc can be quite sought after, so I might sell them rather than give them away.Interested??? triggs
After trying various combinations of amps and guitars i realised its all in the fingers........ just look at someone like Jablonski Guitar - lead - amp ... awesome sound with just the roll of volume/tone control.... but if your gonna get a marshall its gotta be a jcm 800 2204 or 2203, get an original 80's model they're bomb proof and sound awesome wish i still had mine! Alan Badge
I 2nd Hatevent's quote Engl all the way.I only ever bought Marshall then i bought the JVM and had nothing but trouble. When i returned it to the shop they had the Powerball Head in and i love it!Dont think id go back to Marshall. Just because of the build quality. GraemeC
Listen bud... your problem is purley the ammount of air you can shift, get a 4x12 first and drive it with the blackstar... it is 10w more than Chris's marshall!!In fact adding a 2x12 would make a huge difference.I'll take my 2x12 on thursday and see what that does!
