but why?
well...chilis gig at murrayfield last night was absolutely fucking amazing. ash were alright, n.e.r.d. was brilliant but nothing can compare to the chilis. had, possibly the worst seats in the whole place, but that didnt stop us having a great night. only buggar was having to queue for hours to get out of the car park. it was worth it though. Princess
I didn't think a great lot of n.e.r.d...Chili's were ace!! My seats probably weren't much better.
MattJimF
i had the worst view of all, but then i was supposed to be watching the crowd not the bands, and being stuck behind the sound stage ment my job was pretty easy
Princess
Half the security seemed to be watching the band more than the crowd.
Graham
I was at the very back of the top stand opposite the stage and I could hardly hear anything. Unfortunately missed most of Ash, I'm not really a fan of n.e.r.d and the Chilli's were really good apart from the sound from where I was. A.Pel
MY English teacher got back at 6.00 am this morning the twat. He's trying to pull off the 'totally awake and totally sober' look but it sure ain't working.
Jenni.
I was standing and had a perfect view which, was nice. Except that beyond the rail were the purple banders who just waltzed around in their acres of space. Pharrell was so cute, all dressed up for the occasion. I thought N.e.r.d. were ace.Walking into the stadium was a pretty awesome sight as well.
Princess
The guy who drove me to the chilli's has me back home by 1am. I was sitting in the lower west stand. W3
Larsen B
There was one chillis song I didn't recognise. It may be new or just a b-side or something I'd never heard before but it was the best song of the night. I think it had something about "shame" in the lyrics. Anyone know what it was? qzdiablo
i don't know much about the red hot chilli peppers, but from last night's big-screen evidence, john frusciante really needs to control his face when playing solos
dazed&confuzzed
i had pretty good seats not too far from the stage, but forgot my glasses, but yep-i thought the sound was quite sketchy and not loud enough. sometimes you really had to concentrate over the crowd- the played a cover, but also a fairly slow new one called brandy so anthony said- yep john frusciante looked like the amps may well have been vibrating his balls or he has facial tourettes (apparently possible)gig was ace, but was a tad disappointed they didn't play more from blood sugar sex magic or any one hot minute, in fact specially 1hm cos i just realised its the only rhcp album i've been listening to lately. surprised (tho not much) that they didn't do anything older like catholic school girls rock but maybe sticking to contemporary stuff which probably pulled the crowd in the 1st place
Princess
John frusciante has alway pulled strange facial expressions. I think he find guitar very erotic and who could blame him. If i was him, i'd be turned on by my own guitar playing..
Stephen
they dontplay any OHM because anthony reckons its their worst album
MattJimF
according to the Daily Record they didn't play any songs from after 1999! I really don't think they made the gig and just wrote anything.Half the security seemed to be watching the band more than the crowd. yeah it always happens, it's the same at football games (unless you have no interest in football at all).
