Guest Bob Double Jack
if it isn't the same one that was on in drummonds, they might be good. guns 2 roses were fuckin abysmal. truly abysmal.
Lemonade
Tribute acts eat shit. Don't turn into the Lemon Tree.
The Ghost Of Fudge
it's not the same act as played drummonds. they were pretty good actually, if not as good as that band with the Stars In Their Eyes singer guy that played Kef some years ago... pastperfect
Can you not just put on "real" bands as opposed to tribute band?
Monster Zero
Although the music at times was OK, it was comical how little effort they made to at least look like GnR - the fat bald guy who I think was 'Slash' took the biscuit for me. At least the drummer had the bleached blond long hair. Looked about 60 like but still....I wouldn't go back to see them I don't think. The Ghost Of Fudge
Can you not just put on "real" bands as opposed to tribute band?i pretty much do from some 270 bands i've booked this year, maybe 4 or 5 have been tribute/covers bands (if we're including 16 Again and the likes).just gauging opinion here... the GNR band were keen to come back... Maiden Scotland
Can you not just put on "real" bands as opposed to tribute band?I think thats abit unfair to Fudge and the Moorings as they do for the most part but on what you call "real" bands.Obviously being in tribute band that play the Moorings I am going to say I dont see the problem, The Moorings puts on acts that "fit" in with them. They dont go chasing every shit tribute band to try and make money.....which doesnt actually work anyway as people soon get tired of over saturation, I think they have got the balance just right, considering Fudge actually asks the customers what they want. you cant say fairer than thatWe do this for fun, we always have a great time at the Mooring and the feedback from a pub full of happy punters says they must be doing something right. We will be there on Sat 8th November for all the punters who dont want to se a "real" bandCheersMarkMaiden Scotland
Afro Droid
it's not the same act as played drummonds. they were pretty good actually, if not as good as that band with the Stars In Their Eyes singer guy that played Kef some years ago...The first time they played they were ace; the second time (when RL supported) they were pish...
