pogofish
Rock Salt & Snails on St Swithn St (down from Queens Cross) is the one I make the effort to visit at least once a week. Not open Sundays ATM. Rocksalt & Snails - Fine Food DelicatessenHow wide is your definition of West End? The Deli on Banchory High St does good coffee & you can sit in the window, whilst the cafe at the Brig O Feugh is excellent.

pogofish
I got barred from the Dutch Mill a long time ago. It involved a rousing performance of Great Balls of Fire & got one of their barstaff sacked at the same time. Oops!
