Pierre Von Mondragon
20!!? thats like being asked to name 10 famous Belgians. (obviously 20 famous Belgians would be an oxymoron, or something like quantum theory; technically feasible, but so unlikely as to be effectively impossible*).*At our current level of understanding.

I thought Audrey Hepburn was British, so I checked, and she was born there, so that definitely counts (according to the 'AC/DC are Scottish' bylaw anyway), but of Anglo-Dutch parentage. Alan Cynic
I tend to prefer the less flashy bassists myself, but second the Norman Watt-Roy mention.....I suppose my faves include..Danny Thomson & Charles Mingus (if we're allowed double-bass players), plus Jack Bruce, Kevin Ayers (in early Soft Machine), Noel Redding, John Entwistle (all the obvious ones)....maybe Glenn Cornick, Chuck Rainey, John Balkin, Dave Pegg...?? My 2 local ones would be..Ian Slater (APB) and Andy Bass (Tupelo Town Assembly).
