vega
I was emailing the guy James from Yndi Halda/A Lily and he asked about a venue in Aberdeen where bands could sleep in it or above it or something, post-show. Anyone know anything about this?
framheim
that would be the moorings which has a flat for touring bands above it.

stuartmaxwell
fuck I always forget about the lampie, although sandy is pretty lax with bookings etc
FatHand
Most of the best gigs I've played in Aberdeen have been in Blue Lamp. The problem is it's slightly off the beaten track. I've just joined a funk band that have been using the blue lamp for their monthly night and it's a brilliant atmosphere. It really is the best venue when you get it packed. I know a second A Lily album is on it's way too. He said he'd give me a shout when either would be touring. Said he's enjoyed coming to Aberdeen before. I'll let you know if there's anything to report.
