Guest gilly
hmm... i've lied to my parents a couple of times. not all that often. my parents aren't all that strict, in fact they're pretty laid back in general.but i have to say i have managed to get away with lying the few times i have done it.. thanks to Alexandra's overly elaborate schemes i reckon.. Ian-The-Bassist
Had a free house for two weeks. Mate got hammered and puked on wallpaper. In drunken state decided to strip all the wallpaper in the upstairs hall. Friend (who is pr joiner) promised to repaper it the next day. Wake up next day and parents have come home two days early. Three girls in house, parents bed slept in, three wheely bins worth of empty beer cans/bottles. Later on the day they found a thong, a necklace, three porno mags and a used condom.Father calls me "walking advert for contraception whereas mother simply calls me "dickhead". *Amy*
Hmmm, my mum is quite good lie detector so I'm not very good at it.Early last year I almost managed to pull off a big lie saying I was staying at Suzie's house but I went to Moshulu tp party on down with Dirtbox (OMG, UNDER-AGE REBEL!) then kipped at Keesher's. My brother grassed me up...I just wish I was as cool as you_nazi full stop

Invisible Lead Soup
If my Parents weren't as strict as they were (They weren't really strict. Merely 'reasonable'.) I wouldn't be where I am today. More often than not, they have a reason for these things.
New Found Power
Just because Mummy and Daddy don't let you go out and get minging drunk at a party when you're 14 doesn't make them "strict".It simply shows that they're caring about their child's wellbeing and safety.Think about it, if you had kids, wouldn't you be hesitant to let them do everything they want? Fuckin cunts. serves you fucking right.Who the fuck do you think you are calling your parents "fucking cunts"? I hope they read this and ground you for life, cos you seem like the kind of self centred idiot that deserves that kind of thing.Imagine if something really important had happened, or that you had been in an accident on your way to or from this party - they wouldn't have known where you were to find you, and yet you still stamp your feet and say 'it's so unfair'Maybe if you acted like less of a spoilt little child, they wouldn't treat you as such. Its sad that the world we live in, where disciplining your children for being little shites has led to people being stigmatised as 'strict' and 'fucking cunts', has produced such self centred fuckwits as you. Queen Kong
I feel like such an old grandmother in situations like this. I don't understand why people as young as 13 or 14 want to go out drinking, smoking, having sex, etc and get pissed off when their parents won't let them. There's a legal age on certain activities for a reason. Parents don't let their kids do certain activities for a reason. They care.If your mum or dad won't let you go out drinking and having sex at 14/15/16/whatever, there's gonna be a damn good reason for it. Parents want their children to grow up in te best way possible - to gain independence and experience but in a responsible manner. They have a responsibility to do so.If you're pissed off at them for carrying out that responsibility and trying to protect and look after you, then so be it, but don't go taking it out on them when they get annoyed that you've gone against their express orders, lied to them and deceived them when all they wanted to do was to keep your best interests in mind. There's a time, a place and a reason for everything. Fucking deal with it.
Guest Tam o' Shantie
i guess I don't understand this shit because i never tried to go out drinking when i was 14! I didn't start drinking really till i was 16/17 and certainly didn't go out drinking in town till about 17!
