Guest DustyDeviada
Hmm, theoretically an "easy" start to the season. Usually we seem to play both the old firm and Hearts in the first couple of games.

Jamesy
"struggle valiantly against relegation and aim to finish 7th" or have i been playing championship manager too much..?Too much Champ Man soldier, top 4 & Europe I say, providing we actually have some fit strikers. Marsh
and what hopes do dons fans have for the forthcoming season???Considering we have so far made one new signing, lost a key player and are replacing our sub keeper with a first division keeper I suppose the best we can hope for is sixth place again. All the other teams who finished above us will be stronger (apart from Hibs, who will be a fair bit weaker I reckon.)The fixtures are a bit poor yet again, I think. September could be a 1 pointer if we're unlucky.Setanta are showing all Old - Firm only games on Sundays - Aberdeen are not playing in any of these. What a surprise. There's still a chance games may be played on a Friday, although I don't think it'll happen. Aberdeen will struggle to score goals for yet another season if something isn't done. We are lightweight in midfield too. I don't think it'll be a memorable season, unless we can get some sort of cup run going.

Cloud
"struggle valiantly against relegation and aim to finish 7th" or have i been playing championship manager too much..?Top 6 should be the aim - anything else is a bonus, but gambles shouldn't be taken in order to possibly reach Europe - ultimately, finishing on the championship side of the league is the most important thing.Ideally, we'd combine a top 6 spot with a decent run in the Scottish Cup. Scorge
The real season starts for me on 20th July - Montrose vs Partick Thistle (friendly) at Links Park, then home to Accrington Stanley a week after.First league fixture is Dens Park away, very handy...... sandra
I think we should do ok this season, the team is relatively strong provided everyone is fit and we've got a few youngsters which is always a good thing, they tend to cause teams problems. top 4 finish is definately within our capabilities provided we play better than we did on saturday. What does everyone think of the new strips, very nice in my opinion!
