scary mary
There's one in Belmont Street which does pretty fine chips. Well it did last time I was there. Only annoying thing is they use the cones that collect all the vinegar at the bottom. They can be funny though - one of my mates almost made herself sick drinking the contents. Rachie
Ashvale Chipper,Parker's Plaice up the road from moshuluCarlos's on Belmont st isn't always so bad...There used to be a fantastic chipper on Crown St, the Crossroads, but the bastards sold up and put Wok Wok in its place...despite there already being a fantastic Chinese takeaway not 50 feet away... framheim
the chip shop on belmont street is the worst chip shop i've ever been to. don't accept shit chips. go stonehaven if you want good chips, it's the only answer. although ashvale, dolphin, mikes and parkers plaice are good too. Stripey
There are no good chipshops in aberdeen, because they are all fucking MINGING. Seriously, what is wrong with Scotland, all the "local" food is vile, unhealthy, bland, barely edible crap, soaked in grease. Where are the fucking patisseries and quality takeaways? Typical Aberdeen food :Fish and Chips - badly cooked fish (nearly always haddock or cod) covered in shitty batter with a portion of soggy chips oozing grease - DISGUSTINGPies and sausage rolls from bakers - Mystery meat stinking of onions, catfood, and old grannies houses, covered in the worst pastry you can imagine - DISGUSTINGCakes and buns from bakers - tasteless shit made with the worst ingredients, with added chemicals and usually stale, kept in fly infested counters. Honestly, where else in the world does a bit of stale shortbread with icing on it count as a TREAT?Go to just about any other country on the planet and decent, healthy, tasty food is available, so why not scotland?
