Had a change of heart so now have a lovely birdseye maple mighty mite fender endorsed strat neck. Fits straight onto your current strat.

After a neck and middle pickup for my strat. Lindy Fralin blues specials, vintage or real 54s. Fender custom shop Texas specials, Suhr ML/FL or Seymour Duncan aps1. Preferred are Lindy Fralins or Suhr but both hard to come by in UK unless someone is planning a trip to the states. Cheers Stevie

I would always trust an sm57 but also sennheiser do the e606 or e906. Not cheap tho. Alternatively check out studiospares Website. They have own brand versions of mics. I tried a 57 copy from them and weren't too bad.
