You just don't like taking advice from people who have been in this game much longer. Either get a good quality mic on the acoustic or run it as everyone else has said with a DI. It's direct so matters to shit the acoustics of the room. Never have I used an amp to record an acoustic. Plus if they put a shit mic in front of an amp you are back in the same boat all over again. Plus by the time someone mixes it you be back to square one.

Just get hold of a good Di box and mic then go direct. No need for an amp. Very rare would someone use an acoustic amp to record. Rarely people will use them live too.

I currently have a egnater rebel 30. Stupidly loud at times. I can be on 2 and be over the drummer by miles. Few on ebay. Get great clean tones and plenty of gain on tap. Can even mix tubes between el34 and 6l6 so can decide fender or Marshall type sounds. Extremely versatile amp. Check one out. Combo or head available.

Sounds like hell. Not, come work a show day with me that starts at 8am and finishes at 2am. Sure there are laws that until you become an adult at 18, you can't work past 10pm

I have the same Paisley strat but I changed from a hss configuration to a sss but with the awesome lindy fralin blues specials. If you want to go back to hss I still have the original pickguard and pickups here.

What do you consider a good acoustic. I have a washburn ea20b original 90s USA version not the cheap shit made now. All solid wood in black with cream binding. As used by my favorite guitarist nuno bettencort plus others like edge and the guy from del amitri.

Evening gentlemen. I currently have a pedaltrain pro pedalboard which is a fantastic bit of kit, keeps everything neat and tidy but need something a little smaller. Anyone have anything. Even a pedaltrain 2 or something that is 2 tier. I never use my pedalboard at home as it takes up half my kitchen (yes I play in my kitchen) so wanted to find something a little more compact but can also hide all the power cables and wires like the pedal train boards do. Let me know.

As above. use the ep booster. Awesome but you want it on all the time and another ep boost to boost the ep.

Did you not just try running one pedal in front of the other. On occasions I use my bb, Shiba drive and ep all at once.

Have an mxr eq. Did have a boss ge7. I use a xotic ep booster now for my solo boost but I also found the t spark good.
