I'mm using this as my 2nd pedalboard: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kinsman-Ultima-ABS-Pedal-Case/dp/B001ELA2UW But it's a bit small for me........... We could talk about a swap for your aluminium board? Or a swap plus cash if your board is well cool.........
A buffer for 6 or 7 pedals seems a bit of overkill to me. As long as at least one of them isn't true bypass there'll be a buffer in the signal chain anyway.
Don't do that - Multi FX are a compromise at best. Powered boards are ok as long as you're running 9v standard draw pedals - if you have anything more exotic than that then you might struggle to get it running. I'd also question the quality of the power supply in a powered board. If you've got the cash why not buy a small pedaltrain board and mount a decent power supply underneath?
Bear in mind this isn't a guitar problem - you need an electronics guy to look at this. Not sure anyone at ii, r&b or classaxe will he able to help. If pulling the jack half out works then there's obviously signal getting through. Contact cleaner is where i'd start...
If you master guitarring or bassing you're pretty much forced into unlistenable Technical Metalz or Widdly Jazz - so fuck that. Apologies to people that like Technical Metalz and Widdly Jazz - but it's just not as much fun as bashing out a tune. Plus you have to look really serious all the time.
Got this delivered today. Drunken Ebay adventures: Plays ok, sounds decent (wilkinson pickups) - can't find any info online about the brand, sticker on the headstock says made in China so probably reasonably new. Anyone heard of Worship guitars?
Purple ones are George L's - the no solder make em yourself ones. Couple of Fenders and Planet waves in there too - really should get a few more of the George L's and wire it properly.
You couldn't have just PM'ed the guy? First off you recommend whoever buys the guitar replaces the bridge - work that's already been done, if you'd bothered to look at the photos or even just read the ad you'd have been aware that it doesn't have the standard stopbar. And now you're talking about doing a completely different deal. If you don't want to buy the guitar that the thread's about just keep quiet min....
Check the threads - someone on here was trying to swap a doublecut last week. If you're in Aberdeen you can come and try the GS if you want? Not in tonight but i'm around most of the weekend.
That's a sore one fella - it's finding someone to fix it that's the problem. Jimmy Egypt in Glasgow is the only person I can think of. It's too similar to what i've got already unfortunately - if you've got anything else to trade or you want to make an offer send me a PM and we'll talk.
Is the amp plugged into the same power source as your pedals? Have you gone through your pedals one by one to isolate a possible faulty cable or power adaptor? Have you tried a different amp and guitar to make sure there's not a fault there? Can you borrow someone else's board/power supply?
