  1. i have 2 sound lab power amps for sale, both are 2 channels 60W per channel i'll let them go for 40 each.. or 70 for both of them
  2. thats the only reason i wont play it!
  3. Any offers? also have a Vintage by JHS banjo, and an electroacoustic mandolin by tanglewood
  4. gunna try putting these on here one last time! please take them! grandesa 12 string - 180 - dont know anything about this, but it is a dream to play for an acoustic! its old as hell and the neck feels sort of like a classical guitar - comes with hardcase Legacy flying v - 150 - after lots of research discovered these are basically epiphones (legacy + grainier) bought it ages ago with the crappy EMG hz pickups on it, replaced them with pick ups off some crazy old sg of my dads, now sounds awesome, but i cant stand the shape anymore! has been sitting in its hardcase pretty much since then, played 3 or 4 times, comes with the case Tanglewood jumbo electro acoustic - 90 - bought new for 379, loved it, untill i got a fancy pick up in my tanglewood 12 string, has just been ignored since! as can be seen some tart in heels stood on it at a gig, bit it could be repaired easily as the hole doesnt go right through, sounds great, action isnt too bad either, no case for this one unfortunatly! i am open to offers on all of these guitars, and would consider trades
  5. awesome! cheers for all that, should keep me entertained for a while, and i'll have a better pedal!
  6. awesome man, i've just bought a crap load of capacitors and stuff, going to be doing the whole keely mod thing to it, should sound alot better, if not im sure i could shift it off to someone where abouts can i get the panasonic caps? if they really make that much of a difference?
  7. it is, but it seems to get super bassy if i roll it back any more than that, but i have a russian one next to it, which has a much smoother sound, tend to use that a lot more than the USA
  8. yeah, me again with another pedal query. to the point, i've started using my DS-1 a lot more these past few days and i've noticed that it generates a tremendous amount of disgusting noise, and i have the gain and tone at 12 oclock! does anyone else have the same problem with the DS-1? or a solution? i have already got it in the loop section of my NS-2, which works great when im not playing, but as soon as i start playing the noise can be heard just as much as the music! its horrible, and i want it gone! i am also using a OD-2 with the gain at full and tone at about 3 oclock and this is nowhere near as noisey, and this is about 20 years older than the DS-1, and my big muff is less noisey too, with sustain and tone both at 3 oclock. rather confusing.
  9. that would do the trick, but like it says there, 6, i'd need 4 of them, which is 24, when i could get a pack off 5 of the other sockets for a couple of quid, so could potentially be cheaper thanks for that, if i get advised against changing them i'll have to splash out on a few of them
  10. now, i have a vast amount of pedals, and a few power blocks to supply them with the suitable 9V without paying through the nose for batteries.... But... as alot of you probably know the sneaky folk at EHX have a different power supply socket on their pedals, so i would have to buy a separate adapter for each pedal, and having 4 EHX pedals thats more plug points than i care to waste. I have been wondering if it would be possible to simply buy a set of the 'normal' 9V DC adapter sockets and replace the ones on the pedals already? does anyone know if this a possibility? also one of the pedals i am using is a russian big muff, which has NO power supply socket, would it be possible to fit one? thanks for any help guys
  11. you're best bet for any teisco or top twenty parts is on ebay, so keep rummaging through the crap, i have 3 of these guitars, horrible horrible things, but cant get enough of them, i'd say the teiscos are better for slide guitar, so if you do/have bought it, consider raising the action like hell and buying a slide, sounds fantastic, but if you're looking for a jack white sound, chuck in a big muff, and then you win
  12. i have a Behringer PB1000, it can house 12 standard boss sized pedals when it has the foam insert thingys in, it also has an integrated 9Vpower supply with the cable to power all 12 pedals, but i took the foam out to fit my big muffs and wah, i have 14 pedals in it at the moment (bit of a squeeze), so its big enough to fit plenty in, all you'd need is a standard 9V plug for a boss pedal or something (that what i used) its a bt dusty, but easily cleaned, cost 100 new, so i'll let it go for 60 PM me if this interests you at all
  13. Stewart Brathwaite of mogwai uses the Dano fab tone distortion, also cheap as hell, i've a few of the FAB pedals by dano, and i've noticed that some of them are ace and some are pish, probably best to try one out before you buy if thats an option
  14. selling my Grandesa 12 string cant find any info, but it is a very beautiful and strange guitar the neck is flat on the back, feels odd but makes playing the wide neck really easy, comes with the hardcase, could do with a new saddle, but not mandatory. the best part about this guitar is the action, for an acoustic guitar the action on this is pretty unbelievable! virtually no effort needed to press down the strings! not really sure how much its worth, so i will consider any reasonable offers and might trade for other guitars, effects pedals, microphones, that sort of thing will get more pics on request
  15. i got one of these off here for 50 not longer than a month ago i do believe..... you should reconsider your asking price......
  16. am afraid i snatched this amp up long ago
  17. pictures of the strat if thats not too much hassle please
  18. what "attention" is the strat needing?
  19. does seem to be a good site at first glance! definatley ordering a P90 from them in the near future! and possibly one of those artec pedals, and free postage is ALWAYS a massive plus
  20. magnificent! i was going to PM you and ask actually, you seem to be the man in the know! thank you very much
