"Cani? Well he could." Outstanding. Big Vern for 20 this season. If Maguire stays on and we somehow secure Blackman on a permo, then next seasons strike force would be looking like a free 3-course carvery meal in a funcy restaurant. Just need to get the defence sorted.
True dat. If I buy vinyl from One Up, it's usually on impulse [if new] or something from the 2nd hand section. That said, I usually buy from eBay [99p for Todd Rundgren's Utopia...teckle!] or from distros/straight for the label. I don't buy cd's anymore. Don't even have a cd player anymore, just a turntable with a tape deck.
No, his main greatness is his newspaper column. Whilst I think he's alright on TV, he comes across way better when he's writing for The Guardian. You can read most of his stuff on The Guardian website, or I believe HMV have collections of selected articles for under a fiver.
I'm surprised they didn't blame the red card on Aberdeen in some way. I can't see a Scottish football match-fixing/betting scandal, but that dosen't seem entirely legit.
You should maybe not work in a nursery. Newest pet hate: borrowing a book fromt the uni library only to check my emails when I get home and find it's been recalled. Well, ken fit? Yer nae getting it.
The Get Up Kids. Lemuria. Saves The Day [if they decide to put it out]. A Wilhelm Scream. Rumours abound of new Hot Water Music and The Promise Ring albums. Both would be nice.
Have they changed the name of the track for the X-Factor single? My girlfriend certainly seemed abit miffed at this as she is of the thought that people will think it's an original and not a cover of her favourite band. Would this affect songwriting royalties in any way?
"You know, Lawro, you gotta think about what we got in this game for, man. Huh? Was it the rep? Was it so our names could ring out on some fucking ghetto streetcorner, man? Naw, man. There's games beyond the fucking game."
Grandpa Broon, your time is now. Will be a good appointment, especially is Archie comes too. Should make a few of the players buck up their ideas. CBBA.
Aye. He was nearly at Dundee Utd. I think, so he might be wanting to come across as the Scottish league is maybe slightly more recognised in terms of world/european football. That said, if he wants to further his career he'd do well to steer clear of Aberdeen. Fenlon as boss with Steve Clarke as his assistant. That way we'd have a manager who has a proven record of winning things [even league games!] and an assistant who can actually coach the players. No brainer. The Dons board might not have a brain to share between them though.
