I've just finished watching all six episodes of The Corner (twin dvd from eBay 11.99 inc postage). Its maybe not so good as The Wire but I still found it very watchable,and, like The Wire, the last episode is superb. A number of actors from The Wire also appear in The Corner. The voice of Fat Curt will live with me for a long time.

I got a Nokia 5800 last week, the touch screen is only about a million times better than I thought it would be. Thats is all.

You're on edge the whole day really, its hard to explain. The worst bits were during the game apparently. After the game its restricted to a couple of areas really so slightly easier for the old bill as they then know whos who. As opposed to small groups of Millwall walking about un-noticed during the afternoon.

Upton Park ROCKED.

UEFA and their Fair Play Campaign (as long as it suits the big teams) is the biggest shambles in football these days. I'd make the Champions League the Champions from each country only and the winners of their main cup competition, and no seeding. That'd make the Premiership (and the other better leagues) more interesting too.
