Yeah. I like it. Although I don't rate the melody or hook as being amazing it works, its the 'riddims and beat that makes me want to move constantly. good work.

Yeah. Think I've still got to decide on the key to that. I naturally sing in quite a low register, which is sometimes difficult to get emotion across in, so i changed the key to strain my voice like marvin gaye etc would do a lot (not that im comparing myself to marvin gaye) but yeah. i think im gonna change it to C or Bb I think. Would suit my range a bit more than D. that and i used to be abominable. truely shite so im still training myself to sing better, i am improving though... But yeah I get where you're coming from.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I reckon he's quite underrated as a guitarist. I mean I know he said something like"fingerpicking is the easiest thing about guitar, it's just repetitive motion" but I mean this guy was pretty good! independence day and memory lane sound quite difficult to play, they were the last time i tried, ill have another bash sometime soon though...

Just been listening to XO and Roman Candle all day. Great songwriter and a personal influence on me. Well yeah I am in a band that plays a lot and have made a few connections. And I am involved with a lot of gig reviews, and stuff like that. Im quite impatient though, i just want to bring exposure to good bands and stuff asap.

hey I'll be leaving school in almost a years time and music management seems to be a field id be really interested in. i was just wondering if anyone knew of any helpful legitimate university courses involving it? also, it would be helpful to have advice on how to break into this line of career, or advice on managing bands in general if you're involved in that. thanks.
