Yeah, that Oxfam shop is great. Picked up the first Trencher album on vinyl for 3 and a DJ Format album on CD not that long ago. I never seem to be able to leave without buying a book or two either.

The old Poison The Well guitar player is in this lot. Had a brief listen on Spotify and wasn't sure what to make of it. Apparently they drew large crowds at Primavera.

Despite my knee being all better, I'm still only 50/50 for tonight - got relatives up visiting and have no idea what the plan is. Will probably be along later (closer to 8) if I'm along at all.

I was telling my brother about this chap yesterday. It would be excellent if he became a regular participant. My knee actually feels okay today. I'll see how I feel later on and might make some kind of appearance.

I'll hop on the Town and County bandwagon. Only used the Kingswells one but they do a good job and have always been great at sorting out short notice appointments.

I've strained ligaments in my left knee which is why there was limited movement on Monday. Doctor says 3-4 weeks recovery. Really rather sore. According to Calum, I'll return like a new signing. I've also got into the habit of refering to all corners as CKs.

Fairly sure we're on at 7:45. Might be a bit later.

Angry Birds is great. I recommend Virtual Pool.

THIS Wednesday! The new Hot Club 10" is on Spotify and was going mega cheap on either Play.com or iTunes for the download (can't remember which, but 4 tracks for 1.20 or something).

Add Calum to that, and Nef C said he'd be down too.

Aye, his stuff is always about in charity shops. I've got 'A Farewell To Arms' to tackle soon. Will let you know how it goes. I'm currently battling through 'The Big Sleep' by Raymond Chandler. Seems like one of those which has gained "classic" status and was going cheap in the Oxfam book shop. Started reading it during the beginning of my exam revision and I'm now very confused - there have been numerous murders and I have no idea who was related/linked to who. Might have to admit defeat and start again.

Manatees were mega LOUD last time. Curious to see Taint. Will attend.

Can only echo what Sam said really. Played there twice and its super. The folk that work there are nice and one of the sound folk was great - really patient, helpful, etc. The food is good upstairs too. And it's right across the street from Monorail. Greatest record shop in the whole wide world.
