  1. One of my favourite bands ever, so happy there coming back. I'm hoping for a Sonisphere appearance. Them and AIC on the same bill would be unreal for me!
  2. Really liking the tunes, nice work! Reminds me of FNM in places.
  3. Hey, this sounds like it would be right down my friend JJ's street, Drop him an email at scottjamieson447@hotmail.com. Cheers
  4. The Wrestler 10/10 Mickey Rourke rightfully deserves the hype that has come with this film!
  5. Inverurie The Commerial The Black Bull Butchers Arms Yeah!
  6. I am a drummer looking for a singer, bassist and a guitarists. I would like to form a band not too far from the likes of Alexisonfire, Hell Is for Heroes, Oceansize, Biffy (Old stuff), Fighting For Wire, God Is An Astronaut, Nine Black Alps, Thrice and Kong. I have been playing for around 7 years and have gigging experience, pro gear and own transport. Jams/practice would take place in Aberdeen. Good song writing ability would be a bonus and instrument proficiency would be cool. I am looking for people aged 18 + just so there is no limits on where the band could play (apologies to anyone under that age). Please PM/Email me if your interested. mark_mathers@live.com Cheers.
  7. Heat I have had this for ages and finally set about watching it. The car chase scene is the best I have ever seen. Far better than the one seen in Ronin! Its one of the best crime films ever in my view. The pairing of Pacino and De Niro will never be matched this good again!
  8. I thought it was pretty good. Being a major Kevin Smith fan I wasnt disapointed. It was cool to see Jeff Anderson and Mews again and Craig Robertson was quailty. Gonna have to see this again, so many funny moments in this film and Elizibeth Banks was looking as good as ever!
  9. Digged the tunes, give me an email asap on mark_mathers@live.com
  10. Myspace.com Blogs - SAVE BRACKET - MySpace Blog Looks like there in a spot of bother!
  11. I like it, however i was expecting better from it! Is it just me or does some of the riffs sound exactly the same as some on From Mars To Sirius!
  12. Nice one, track is killer. Hope it opens up some doors for you guy's!
  13. Went to see Pineapple Express not bad at all, better than I thought it would be anyway!! Also had a bit of a Kevin Smith fan boy fest and watched Mallrats, Dogma, Jay & Slient Bob Strike Back and Clerks II, everytime i watch these films I always find the shtick funnier and funnier!
  14. I do like the Belmont cinema, however sometimes the projecter has been off set and while watching Death Proof the screen was so bleached some scenes where unwatchable! These things happen however sometimes the staff can be a bit snappy but to be fair where have you been where there is not one misrable cunt working there! Im there to see a film not to have my rim eaten out of by staff!
  15. I would be up for drumming like!
  16. I saw them at Leeds, excellent live. If I wasnt in Glasgow i would probo go to this gig!
  17. I dont think they have sold out, Yes the material is different but that is not a bad thing. I am going to the gig and aslong as they mix some old school stuff in with the Puzzlers i will be happy. I love some of the comments on this tho, most people who make the comments would love to live life like the members of Biffy do, Get a grip its only a band. I am sure most of your bands would take up the offer of playing SECC. Jesus!

    Jubilee

MySpace.com - Jubilee - LOS ANGELES, California - Rock - www.myspace.com/jubileeband I went to see tham at Leeds fest and thought they were amazing. O/C i couldnt go to the gig last night at Cafe D's as i was still on the megabus back home. Was just wondering if anyone went along and what they thought of them. You may know this band as the QOTSA's bassists band or Aaron Norths (Nine Inch Nails) new band!
  19. Famous Ape MySpace.com - ?Famous Ape? - Aberdeen, UK - Punk / Ska - www.myspace.com/phamousape You should get in touch with these guys, really good live!
  20. Alreet, we have a Pub Covers band on the go. We have all the vitals covered apart from a vocalist. It would be Ideal if the Singer could also play Bass or Keyboard as well as singing. The brief is that we just wanna go out and have fun but make some decent cash along the way. Practice would be held in the Inverurie/Aberdeenshire Area. Own Transport would also be a great help as well was equipment. Please reply to mark_mathers@live.com or add megametalmark@hotmail.co.uk to MSN. Also if anyone has any ideas on where to get a decent/cheapish PA system that would be great. Thanks, Mark
