  1. Squarepusher? Rave? Tom Jenkinson (AKA the pusher of squares) did have a techno side-project under the name Chaos A.D. , but apart from that, Squarepusher isn't rave at all.
  2. Perhaps it is merely a case of "we have your money, we don't give a fuck about anything else, but buy some drink from our extortionately overpriced bar".
  3. This is becoming more and more of a major problem at gigs. The venues should seriously consider having some form of policy of disruption involved with folk talking too loud over a live act and ruining everyone elses night. It's quite bizarre, as if you spoke loudly during any of the performances in the aberdeen jazz festival, you would fucking know about it. During Graeme Stephen, pretty much everyone respected the performance for what it was worth, and left in awe about how fantastic it really was. The crowd were so respectable, and it's a pity that such crowds aren't around more often at gigs.
  4. Sorry for bumping an old thread' date=' but I thought it was worth a mention that Galbadia Hotel have really expanded their site since last year. Apart from their game soundtrack list being about three times bigger, you can now also download anime soundtracks, manga graphic novels and also watch entire anime series's. Worth a look even if you aren't a major video game music fan: [url']http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php?r=10296
  5. This is true. I played there when I was 17 with no fuss at all.
  6. GIFs don't have sound. The YTMND usually doesn't work with my Firefox, as I can't get the Quicktime plugin to work for it. I just use IE instead.
  7. You missed my point. I could easily import them if I wanted to (and I do occasionally). I was talking about how other people turn a blind eye to such games over here' date=' which I think means they are missing out on some great games as they don't bother to check them out and are more concerned about the graphical power of a machine rather than actual game playability. I know the Elder Scrolls series, but it isn't my style of RPG. Oblivion may look nice, but I find the gameplay really boring. I prefer a more linear RPG where the main quest takes up more time than the sidequests do. I am aware of this, afterall video gaming is one of my main hobbies .XBox is the worst selling console out of the three current gen consoles in Japan, and it could well be because it is the main console that a lot of developers make FPS's for. However with the Wii's revolutionary way of playing the game, it may certainly become the best console for FPS's, which would be nice to observe what effect this would have on FPS sales over in Japan. Both markets are completely different. I guess i am just an Eastern gaming fan rather than a Western one.
  8. Blood Omen (the first Kain game) would be better. And cheesier.
  9. The name is shit But the console will be good, especially with Sega releasing games for the Wii's virtual arcade feature. Maybe I can finally play Shining Force III without having to fork out 60 quid for a PAL copy. Also, here may be some of the very first game screens for the Wii from a game called 'Red Steel' that is being made by the folk that did Farcry: http://gonintendo.com/?p=1920 Playing this console is going to be really fucking wierd.
  10. It's over a million now. 5 minutes ago, it was about 960 000.
  11. Damn, that's some fresh shit goin' down
  12. You bought a domain name just to link to myspace? Seems a bit pointless. As for the tunes, I didn't think much of them. Fairly generic, nothing new, and uninspiring. Perhaps you are still trying to find your sound (hopefully), because it bores the shit out of me.
  13. Melissa Auf Der Mar's cover of "Love is the Drug" is extremely fucking awful. It's worth downloading just to hear how bad it really is.
  14. Doesn't Rupert Murdoch own it now? Because that would just prove exactly how underground it is.
  15. Maybe old MySpace whores have joined Bebo as they see it as a more underground, cooler MySpace-type site where only the best people go - the majority trying to be in the minority so to speak.
  16. Are one-up going to be charging booking fee? I assume it's going to be a quid extra. And the link doesn't work:P
